The features are similar to yours (It compares the movement of 8 major currency), however the currency strength indicator in the attachment had different features: 1. The value changes every second 2. The value ranges from 1 to 100. 50 being flat, below 40 is weak and above 60 is strong Do u know how to create this type of CSM? I have done extensive work in the currency strength area using databases as distinct from visual charts and the MT4 type of technical indicator analysis
The answer to the crossover question lies with taking the value of your data at each point looking each side of that data point for a + / - concept and then scaling the angle of the change as they cross. There are an almost infinite variety of crossings but it is the angle that is important and one other thing ... where that rally or decline started from.
If you have a bounded variable that defines how far your measured currency can go to AND then the current movement starts at the point then it intersects with another currency traveling from the opposite direction then it is a more powerful move.
