Right. That is true they only give it back included in first payout.

Next thing for me is to do the 100k challenge. Honestly 10k is not enough to trade full time where I live lol...

works out well for me as I am trading mostly oil and dow for FTMO challenge. I'd be curious to see how bad the slippage is though if they are truly DMA and the LP's are companies like lmax who have low top of book liquidity.

First challenge failed... Looks like my strategy doesn't work well during summer-trading... Will try again after market gets back to normal... Before summer it was really great, but then everybody went on vacation and I started a challenge...

Sorry to hear Pax, I was hoping you’d make it through.

Quick observation, take with a grain of salt (as any day is a good day for a different system, it’s just your system’s winter month)

- possibly add rule to halt trading after a certain sequence of losing trades

- your risk control looks solid, however it was the multi-intraday losers that sunk it (looks like 2 days). Taking out those two days, and it appears much better, as your winners appear to go in 3+ streaks or flat

Yep, I know that I shouldn't add stop-trades before I leave the house to attend a Meetup... Only one of those should've triggered, but I missed to close the rest after the first pair opened... I learned from that mistake... Only trade when in front of the computer or maybe I should get an EA that closes all other pending orders when the first pair triggers

Will do a free trial to cover the time until September and then start another Challenge

Oh that makes sense. Yes seemed like a definite outlier day. That same thing has happened to me, so much that I’ve lost count over the years. Sounds like you’re spot on with your idea.

Does the Commission update apply to the other account currencies EUR, GBP, CZK?
So, I feel kind of dumb. But, I just realized that ftmo offers crypto trading on the weekend?

Does this mean that even during the challenge we can trade 7 days per week?

If so, this makes it a lot easier to achieve the profit target, and for those who hit the target before 10 days they can meet the minimum days faster since trading is literally 24/7.

Yes but Crypto spreads are usually insane at the weekend.

Just carry on trading your old accounts - they don't get cancelled. One can just pretend it's a smaller challenge! You don't get any prizes for passing trial account

Is this for Funded Accounts Only or Challenge/Verification accounts as well? I ask because I have both but with the Challenge you can carry trades into the weekend which I did...so trying to figure out what happens with those if the Challenge/Verification accounts are changing as well?

Have now purchased 3 by 100K challenges in total.

All 3 will be traded via cTrader.
