Oh thanks so much for mentioning the H4, I must admit I forgot to check the H4 for my entry. Market hit PSAR with a SAR and turned back opened above EMA support, which is a no sign to go short, too risky.

Lesson learned. Have to check all the charts again to make sure I'm not trading against any major support/resistance.

Rule for entry: Rules for uptrend
1. Romar and EMA must be in sync on all charts to go long - yes all supports in 4 charts
2. Looking at Romar and EMA uptrend on both H1 and H2 to enter a trade - Yes purple crossed EMA from below in H2
3. Trade are made from support
Also with DB/SAR attached below at H2 Romar, I expect market to move up further with a DB on top

Result: TP +40 hit

The trade went out as planned. Market is back to the broader daily uptrend and brought out DB on top. The market is still going up after my TP hit

No entry for me today.

When purple crossed EMA down, H4 EMA and PSAR were still support. H1 Romar support and H4 PSAR were at the same point so I thought it is too risky to go short.

I entered for the buy last night and forgot to hit post.

Entry: consolidation
Long: I have gone long at the H2 Psar flip and am expecting the H2 to move a max of 20pips against me then reverse up.

Notes for readjustments: Had H2 turn flip for the down with a DB/SAR and standard divergence. H4 SAR attached at Psar and H1 has hit ROMAR support.

TP +40 hit. Next time doing this trade with not much room for 40 I would try waiting for the H4 bar to close aswell to avoid the bigger dips that happen on occasion. This trade was only at risk of losing if H4 support did not hold.

Well Mexican, I took the same well known trade. If you had noticed, should you have waited for the H4 bar to close and enter on the new H4 bar, you would have had your stop loss either hit, or almost hit. That is some drawdown. However, the entry you took was, the right one by the looks of things. Perhaps we could have waited 4 hrs later than when we entered, but that is to my mind currently "thinking" too much and not "just entering" when the criteria for entry are met. We aren't supposed to think - only to enter when the Paradox says to.

If you make up your own rules then the story is sad.....
I think i will keep entering according to the rules of this type of trade while watching to see how it behaves with the close on the H4 candle to see what works best. Its the most draw down I've had from this type of trade, it got 5pips away from my SL, Most likely from the market trying to turn

-40 pips. this was not an anti-psar entry with the way H2 and H4 behaved. I believe i have figured out all the confluences to trade against the Parabolic with this particular entry only and am excited for the next entry to put my knowledge to the test
