Hi all.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to Alan! First and foremost for all the effort you put in but of course also the strategy.

I am still struggling with consistency and trusting what I see is correct. Also think I have been a bit too focused on the divs and maybe over trading, rather than which direction to go and where the EMA is reaching for.
But slowly getting the hang of it!

Anyways, big thanks again.

This is something I went through. At the start I think the issue with most who come to this thread is they try to simplify the system. It is not easy and the divergence element will take time to get your head round.

Some rules from my experiance to help:

Divergence usually will send price to the ema and cross (usually) This does not mean it will. We are trading when price long when price is aboive the ema and short when below. a common mistake with people they trade right at the oversold and overbought. Now this is an opportunity as the system is meant as a roadmap. However! it can lead you slightly astray.

The importance of support is paramount. I would not even put on a trade until you see signs of support. This is one people overlook.

Practice but do not quickly go one and try put on all 3 steps for the trade. Take your time learn the system getting even 1 trade and achieving the 10 pip scalp a day is an amazing result as you master the system. At the early stage I kept trying to add the 2ed and 3rd levels. Getting stopped out as I was not paying full attention.

Also one advice I would give everyone ready the first 10 or so pages in this thread like a national anthem or bible. Print them out see the examples where the trade has gone.

There is an overview in this thread print that out!

Be methodical. Spotting a signal and not taking a trade is not a lost trade. It is a successful spotting of the signal.

There is also a pdf on hidden divergence here take out and memorize it.

If you have questions ask. I see many seem shy as worried there answers are in the age of the thread. That is fine. Sometimes people can overlook. I've been on this strategy Since October last year.It has became my primary and if i didn't ask silly questions for answers already there I would never gotten the answer or where the answer is!

But most of all good luck.

With anything in life the way to master it is to spend 1000 hours learning it and 1000 hours practicing it. As to quote Alan there is no holy grail to froex. The key to success is to master the story your charts tell you and act accordingly.

Hi Alan, thanks for such a great thread, I am learning so much from studying it.
Is has certainly opened my eyes how to read the markets from your perspective.

I wouldn't be thinking along the lines of hard and fast rules. Think more of this being a logic rather than a system.

The concept is quite simple....

If the market is trading above the average then we are long.
If the market is trading below the average then we are short.

Then we ask the question for either direction..

Where is price likely heading.?

From this reasoning we then determine both our risk and our reward within the constraints of the distances we have plotted.

These things are not subjective, this is simply the evidence in front of your eyes...

When you say, trading above/below the average, is that considering the 1h or the 5m?

Might be one of the stupid questions but hey.

i thought ist not possible to have a bull setup when price is trading below the H1 ema, at best we can expect a scalp

I would of thought it at H1 if price has formed a valley, it would tell you if the bears are losing support. You would need to do the two bar test but it can be a small scalp via a hedge if you are going through a bear trend set up. It could be changing but there would need to be more support, I.E are there any bears in the price when the RSI fast has cross the slow, has it crossed the slow again or is it forming a pivot?


Remember RSI will also tell you if bears and bull have supports, what the chance for avg reaching that level. This can help you take the scalp with the divergence. Can it lead to a trade, well over the year I have had one or two occasions it has, but the RSI and the EMA will dictate this .Nothing is impossible just unlikly. I personally see it as a scalp opportunity/hedge opportunity.
