{quote} I can give you 101 reasons why FidelCrest is a scam. But can you give me a reason why you think the5%ers is a scam? I've gone through their offering and all the reviews on Trustpilot and other places and they seem legit to me. I haven't seen a single reason to believe your assertion and would love to hear from you.

There is possibly no reason to believe my assertion, and from their Trustpilot reviews they are quite legit, as you think. So, go ahead ahead and roll with them! Problem solved. Perhaps later, we might compare notes.

{quote} Not sure about fidelcrest, but the5%ers are definitely not a scam. They are legit and you get paid when you make money. When you reach your trial, you get what they promised you get. So you start with $13,000 balance, when you make $910, they give you balance of $52,000 and so on. Profit is split 50/50. So not sure what your problem is with the5%ers, but they are legit and serious business and they do pay every month as long as you are in profit. If you lost the trial that is your fault because you did not follow money management rules....

That's interesting! Just based on Trustpilot score alone? Any proof beyond Trustpilot? Do you have experience with them?

LMAX crypto trading was previously tradeable on the weekends. Today the feed for bitcoin seems to be halted. Anyone else experiencing this?

I still do. From my experience, they are legit. Trustpilot score has a lot of people saying positive things. You do get paid, customer service is good, they do reply when you ask them any questions. I do not understand why people are complaining about them. They are honest and legit. They are not a scam. They have investors, that invest money with them, and whoever signs up and wants to trade and they are successful you will get paid. If you have a problem with proprietary firms, you should either trade your own money, or learn how to trade properly and money management and you will make money. There are other proprietary firms that are good too. I did hear some bad things about fidelcrest but can't speak about them because I never traded for them. As for the5%ers, they are legit. Never had any issues.
Do you have any prove why is it that the5%ers are a scam beside writing about them and guessing out of thin air?

Hello everyone & FTMO, I just want to inquire if anyone else has had any concerns with the liquidity of FTMOs provider LMAX? I have passed my first 100k challenge and I am trading my verification stage alongside another 100k challenge and its going fairly well. However, I've had multiple losses now that have been primarily down to LMAX liquidity issues rather than the price action. Now i'm not one to blame other factors normally or to shout out "scam wick" whenever I got stopped out and I took the first couple of times on the chin but this latest...

Yes, I have seen spreads the size of Texas with FTMO lately and I have several other platforms open and do not see nearly the same issues. I just demo this platform right now but I would be pretty pissed if I paid a commission AND had these crazy spreads. The other day the GBPUSD went 14 pips spreads late afternoon.

I see it. When I clicked the website you just provided with https://... it shows the same "your connection is not private". Do you think that maybe because it is weekend they are doing some maintenance or something?

I read just 8% of applicants who apply to ftmo pass the tests. Out of curiosity, what % of those who pass are still meeting their ftmo targets 12 months later? I speculate it is approx. 30% of that group.

This is a major reason why I decided to start a trial before plunging into the challenge stage so I could examine the spread profile across several of the pairs I typically trade.

If they intend to offer just the one broker solution then it's less than ideal.

More choice for the traders is always a step in the right direction and less choice is never in the best interests of the trader.

I notice that a current video has them stating that the FTMO LMax solution will be the best for their traders but this is too bold of a statement to be making in a fast moving ever evolving retail FX space.

Let's see what is offered.

assuming a reputable broker, the margin requirements given government leverage restrictions, spoils your maths

then there is the issue of risk; risk my cash or yours....yours thanks!

*an unrelated matter,

as governments across the globe increasingly shrink retail forex leverage, squeezing home traders out of the market, funders such as ftmo will be the go to option for more and more skilled traders

and because retailers aren't legally allowed to access leverage above x:1, the funder could have their traders execute all trades on demo and then copy them to their live wholesale account which isn't subject to the tight leverage restrictions that retailers are; which is a nice work-around

Only minimal data is released for obvious reasons.

I would think far less than 8% though, perhaps 1% to 2% would be closer to the mark for funded traders still in the game after 12 months.

However, the 12 month period would need further clarification including under what conditions.

For example, a funded trader could have passed several verification stage accounts currently waiting in the background ready to be activated at a moment's notice which could theoretically have a trader with the capacity to always be trading a funded account.

Perhaps we might ask the following:

Of the traders who have reached funded stage how many (%) have lost at least one funded account and what % of funded traders have kept a funded account at least 12 months ?

Clearly the statistics about funded traders is what we seek here since it sheds much light and it's very interesting to know but all we have is info given out by a few funded traders on YouTube or other sites and FTMO.

It is no secret that whether a trader chooses to trade a single 100K funded account or a master account comprising 3 by 100K joined accounts they are best to have at least a few paused and passed verification accounts waiting in the background.

Such accounts could be paid for via gained profit share so it is in itself a form of account planning or future protection of a funded trader status.

For example,

My plan is to gain 3 by 100k funded accounts and request to have these put together in a single 300k account. After a few profit share splits trade another 1 to 2 challenges onto pass verification and always have a minimum of 1 by 100k account (3 paused accounts optimal) to be used when required so that should I lose the master 300k account I can start off again almost with minimal delay.

Ultimately having 3 by 100k passed accounts on the ready is the goal but it depends whether you trade a single 100K account or 2 or 3 and how you combine them.

This can be played many ways including trading:

a) 3*100K account as a single 300K master account,

b) 1*100K account + 1*100K account + 1*100K account,

c) 1*100K account + 2*100K account or

d) other combinations using smaller account sizes.

Option A really needs 3 paused accounts.

Option B a minimum of one.

Option C really needs 2 paused accounts.

Option D depends on account choice and combo.

Depending on which account combo is lost dictates how many paused accounts are required.

For Option C if you lost the one by 100K account you only need 1 to replace it but 2 if you lose the 200k account.

Good trading,

I didnt realise an account can be paused after verficiation, that's good

so it is $300K max per account, if you have 3 accounts, the max is 3x300K?

anyway, good fortune on your ftmo verification ambitions
