Now I have 28FDXM 715,5 + 17 DAX CFDs 639,5.

Acouple additionals both positions placed 600 zone and below for FDXM.

Automatic closing orders from 63..zone up to 690 zone, but it seems unrealistic a recover without US help.

I'll back in an hour to check what's going on

The FTSE wants to go to 6000 level and thus will drag the DAX down with it.

It's more the ES than the FTSE (imho). First key level 3220 reached. Below is a major 3215 and the abyss 3200. ES off course not leading, but an indication of levels reached in the mornings

FTSE hit bottom at 6020. After the fast elevator down, for next hours until US session it'll take the slow escalator back up, taking the DAX with it.

Always has been and will probably continue to be so even after Brexit. It is still the largest stock market by capitalization for the European timezones. Bizarrely Brexit proper will drive the FTSE up because most of its components trade internationally. The DAX will benefit from a positive FTSE.

Well we all have our different points of view. I've been trading in one form or another for over 30 years and I've never considered the FTSE to lead anything. The whole world follows the US as far as I'm concerned. There were certainly some correlations in the past you could rely on but not anymore in quite the same way.

Anyway it would be boring if we all saw the markets in the same way.

Agreed, divergent views are necessary to provide for a functioning market.

You'd be surprised how many markets follow the FTSE lead. A friend of mine runs an unit trust in South Africa and how the JSE mimics the FTSE drives him crazy.

Intraday positions topeed at breakeven. Overnight positions keep running with huge potential losses.

Yes absolutely. The most money comes into the market at LO and another (lesser) huge chunk at NYO.
