been busy working, distracted etc. first trade in a week. small stuff, a plus 1T this morning. just need more time for consistency to be able to swing at
big league pitching, and drive in T's. sticking with the ES.

Took the day off to take care of a few of those distractions that have been bothering me. Looking back with my near perfect hindsight I can say I would have easily bagged 30,000 to 40,000 ticks, easily!!! LOL!

one trade this morning. took a 1-2-3 long on the 1 min chart (2min below to show what I was looking at). looked like a 2B formed immediately so
cut it short for plus 3T. after which it promptly raced up which would have been for the win. oh well, it's not horseshoes or hand grenades.

Traded sim today on a naked 5 minute chart. Just to see if I can. Trying to get to where I don't need any indicators. It's hard to let go of the crutches. Happy with today's results. Haven't counted ticks yet.
Recently every day has thrown something different, and even if that wasn’t strictly true - take more than a couple of hits & you are either sucked in to bigger losses or feel like you have missed out.
I found the more indicators, the more excuses to distract me from what price is doing and that means indecision.
@MichaelSch a couple of posts above has the right idea imho.
I think another crucial factor is when should I not trade? When does it not suit me? But to establish that you have to have documented what works & when & why. That is what I am trying to get to, the experiment continues... I put stokes up to demonstrate how little it helped in my decision making.
