Im starting this thread to help any new people looking to learn to Trade to be cautious of the many Trading scammers out there.
Ive been in the industry for around 10 years and have seen many people try all sorts of tricks, so i can spot a scam a mile off.

Its not rocket science to call out trades and levels and be very accurate , but profiting consistently is a whole new ball game that takes years of losing and a mental battle.

Please add your experiences of instagram & Youtube Scammers who claim to earn $1000's everyday but in reality they are not even profitable and are looking to sell you a course, mentoring or some other crap that doesn't work.

My 2 cents on a recent Instagram & Youtube scammer I came across called uncle ted & Raja from Wicksdontlie.
They have a live youtube feed everyday that gets a regular following of 1500 people. They call out levels and possible scenarios for either direction and are sometimes accurate ''which is not rocket science '' They will then claim to have profited from the trade with no proof on the live feed, they just show some instagram pics & videos to show the scam.
They are both extremely arrogant and cocky, Ted is the most obnoxcious arrogant Ahole you will ever come across, he will talk BS for hours and claims to earn $100,000 s in a few minutes trading. he loves the sound of his own voice, and brags about how good he is and how much money he has got. a complete narcissistic deluded fool. They will permanently delete any one that questions them from the comments block you from instagram.

They both use a private MT4 server Tradersdomain that can be easy manipulated to put in any trade figures in they like. see uncletedsafranko.com for more info.
steer clear from these types of con artists as you are really just wasting your time and money.

MT4 can be manipulated so can many other servers to make it look real, it has been proven.

Traders domain is not even regulated the possibility of broker slippage is 99% likely!

Showing tradingview only saying you made 8pips 10pips anyone can do that!
Personally, I haven't faced this kind of experience and I haven't been fooled yet (either I'm very careful or I'm just lucky). But I also noticed that the number of scams related to Instagram & Youtube has been growing lately.
In fact, it's quite an expected trend. Many people have managed to earn a lot of subscribers for all the popularity of these two services. And everything would be good if the owners of popular channels on Instagram & Youtube didn't want to earn easy money. And to earn on their subscribers and scams. I'm against that approach. If you are already trusted on some platform, it doesn't mean that you can make easy money on your subscribers. I personally judge that approach.
Anyway, it's cool that there's someone who cares and wants to help others. It would be great if your thread became popular. I totally support you))
This is a very important topic, because the era of the Internet is not only new opportunities, but also new dangers. And people are often completely unprepared for this, because they do not understand what exactly the dangers and obstacles await them. And how they can be deceived.
In fact, the utmost caution should be exercised in those moments when it comes to your personal data and financial investments. Because that is exactly what can be used against you.
Of course, that's what they talk about everywhere. But people still believe and still make certain mistakes. And that's why it's okay to remind people of that. So don't use in your everyday life, business, etc. things that you're not sure about, things that you don't have full information about - that's the whole secret...
I wish more newbies would just be interested in education rather than signal services. I'm so glad I took the route of pure education and chose to just learn from my mistakes. My goal one day is to become a T.A. educator some day, so that I can teach people a skill I believe to be invaluable without them having to take a financial beating a bunch lol
Wicksdontlie's live streams are amazing. I've watched his live stream every day for the past year and have learned more from him and Uncle Ted than I have anywhere else. I've purchased several courses over the past few years and nothing compares to what you get for free from his streams. Uncle Ted often provides invaluable insights and analyses as well. You have some balls to call Uncle Ted a scam lol. He has literally zero incentive to make money off of other people. He doesn't sell a course. He does own a brokerage (Traders Domain), but I've NEVER heard him advertise it on Wicksdontlie's stream. Wicksdontlie not only provides live analyses on my favorite pair GBPJPY, but he also drops golden nuggets everyday on various important trading topics such as psychology, mindset, risk management, daily habits, etc. He has instilled in me the truth of the fact that the two biggest culprits to failed trading is over-leveraging and over-trading. I'd say that 95% of everything forex-related that you see on social media is a scam. But from personal experience, WicksDontLie, Uncle Ted, Trade with Monty, and Trade with Paul are all legitimate and are all incredibly selfless in the incredible value they give away for free on their live streams. I truly believe that they all get a huge satisfaction from seeing others succeed.

This is either a personal attack on Raja and Uncle Ted Or you don't know them well enough to talk about them.
His youtube daily streams are so helpful and Raja calls out trades, Entry, SL, TP...even when it hits Stop loss, it is well documented for all to see.

Dude it takes guts to do FREE live stream, then call out trades with exact Entry, SL, TP....DAILY!
Common! Give them a break on how they treat people on their live streams, it's FREE for goodness sake!

I started seeing profit consistently in FX when I starting watching Raja, Paul and Monty's streams... and it's FREE
All the several courses I bought and took didn't get me that!

They are doing a fantastic job and I wish struggling traders would watch their streams daily!

Thanks for the suggests, those who are engaged in producing quality content for the betterment of others deserve respect as they are contributing in educating others. There are some brokers like hotforex, octa etc who also provides webinars for learning and development of traders.

It would only take a minute to attach account to myfxbook and mql5 and make ab half a million! per month out of subscriptions and followers fee. There would be 20 000 - 50 000 people following at least. But it will not happen. Never.

Why? People with common sense know the answer.

To be honest most scammers are so clearly out to scam you its unreal, most are young,good looking [ dont forget the cool shades ! ] they got a cool car [rented for the day] cool house [rented for the day ] maybe a plane [rented for the day] oh ,and dont forget the bundles of prop money piled up on the desk! too be honest if you fall for that BS you are so naive, no different from the snake oil salemen of years ago,people wake up and smell the coffee !
As I´m bored being in lockdown, I have followed several youtubers and have been writing down their calls. Most of them love GBPJPY.

Some people who call themselves profitable traders treat their YT as their job - every f*cking day they come to work and do their show. + sell courses and/or cadgets and/or webinars. And affiliate links.
Would you do that if you made hundreds of thousands per year? Having better returns than any known hedge or investment fund out there...
I would not, I would start a fund to trade + invest in long term + invest on rental real estate - I just wouldn´t have time to entertain people EVERY DAY for few K that social media and products make per month.

Next on the list is a guy call Mark Shawzin The pattern Trader. He's a Youtube guy who claims to earn $millions in a few days whilst selling crappy trading education.

This Wiley old fox has been scammimg in the industry for a long time ( just google his name and you'll see).

What people fail to understand is that anyone with a few years experience can become an expert in technical analysis and calling levels but fail miserably at trading.
Mark falls into that illusion that he is a master trader but in reality he nothing but a demented old scammer.

He bombardes Youtube with 4 day sales pitches every few weeks to try to convince people that he is the real deal. He uses photoshopped screen shots and a white label MT4 to show millions of dollars in profits from previous levels that he has talked about.

He has 100's of videos but not one shows any proof that he trades live. I actually caught him out..., I spotted 1 old video that he posted that was showing a white label Metatrader 4 platform with fabricated profits. I called him out on it and the video was immediately deleted. that just proved my case.

He will talk about many trade setups that are support and resistance breaks, he sends out emails with the trades , some good some bad.
But he will only talk about the trades that have hit the profit target and claim to be in huge profits and '' making tons of money''

It's not real world trading to be able to hold millions of dollar positions for weeks or months and watch 100's of pips in profit go up and down in wild swings, this would emotionally destroy an inexperienced trader. Mark is very old sensitive guy and it would be impossible for him to take the stress of being in millions of dollars of positions whilst being able to sleep at night. He clearly is suffering from some sort of condition as he rocks backwards and forwards in his chair when he holds the Q&A sessions.

I have asked mark on numerous occasions to show some real live trades in real time, on one of the many live webinars that he takes, but he just blocks me.

As i said before , I have been in the industry for a long time and I can spot a scam a mile off. For anyone that questions an ''educator'' you must ask these simple questions. SHOW SOME REAL TRADES IN REAL TIME. REAL PROFITS NOT SCREEN SHOTS. if they cant do that simple thing then run a mile.
