Hi All

I had the scrip converted to a indicator.

MJ-_Secret_Angle_Method
- draggable main trendline
- 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 trendlines are drawn based on angle of main
- vertical time lines and horizontal price lines based on intersections of main and fan trendlines (1/4 time line left out)
- diagonals from end of main trend line to 1/2 trendline times
- optional fib levels, show or hide.
- should be full styling
- plot keeps position on tf change
- to prevent slowdown objs are updated only when mainline is dragged/clicked

I applaud you for sharing, and implementing the conversion of two very important aspects of time and price calculations for MT4 platform.....the scripts we had of these two where so wonky, and they cancelled when changing to another time zone, or another chart, rendering them almost useless to those trading day trades. You have no idea how valuable a stable circle can be, and now the Secret angle indicator. I have total respect for your work.

hey guys...thought we could have a little fun and see what happens... what i did was use a little sacred geometry to see if we can predict the next major moves in the first pic below i drew a triangle to represent the last major 'leg' or swing in the second pic i drew a trendline connecting the 2 bottom corners of the triangle in the third pic i moved the triangle along the trendline and connected it from the triangle's last position in the fourth pic i drew vertical lines thru the middle and far right points in the fifth pic i repeated the...

well guys...as you can see in the pic, there was definitely serious movement on the first checked vertical line...unfortunately it went the other direction and my open trade from last week got stopped out...lol

waiting to see what happens on the next checked vertical line...hopefully i can recover from the smackdown i took earlier

Hi Swede

All a great pleasure but all credit to the coder, Jeanlouie. Also a bug was found when drawing from high to low, the fans where incorrect, please use attached updated indicator going forward.

Excellent, now we spend less time drawing those line and more on reading and learning. I am trying to get my head around with so much information to digest. Still not sure what works and what doesn't! I was monitoring EURJPY usingsecret angle retracement on M15 and price did reacted but again it need more forward testing and practice to see what works and what doesn't...

One bug to report or may be something i am missing, so apology if its later. Indicator works perfect when main trend line is short but on longer one, few of the angles are drawn incorrectly. Example of working one and not working below for GBPNZD on M15.

I was getting quite frustrated using the script for this msj method for finding daily trade opportunities....but this indicator when set up is very nice.....AND once placed on the chart .it stays even if you shrink the size or squeeze the chart....I can see many day trades ahead lol
( look for premium levels thus the elimination of many of the angles...)

ps...the indicator still needs some work, funny things happen at times, but the premise is good......can your coder make it adjustable to every time you place it on another chart it will have the same settings, or the settings one prefers....otherwise it is a lot of work to set up each time.

Also it at the moment it only square out the bar angle. It would be nice to have option alongside Fib level to square out retracement fib level.

Also @swede don't we just save setting in file from indicator and load that setting. I mean you can have file each for all the traded currency. It would be nice if it can remember last used setting though but in MT4 I haven't seen that with any indicator so far. I just save the setting in the file and load it...

Hi Swede

At this stage we will just have to use as we use other indi's, save preferred setting as a template and then use that template on each pair. Only issue with this is that if you have preferred setting for a specific currency pair then you will have multiple templates. Important to double click on the main trend line before saving as a template. When you open that template again you sometimes have to just adjust the main trend line but the settings stay the same.

Please also share any issues or bugs you experience with the indi, I would like to get the indi to operate 100% first and then I will see if we can add some extra bells and whistles.

Hi DM

Not at this stage, the coder only works on MT4.

Trying or say practicing few patterns from square the range on GBPUSD Daily and H4.

Daily looking bullish considering the time have elapsed equivalent to the Price fall in March and its been bullish since out of the circle. The 1/2 angle is the one to watch as its briefly rejected today on H1. Once it is clear, i think the only one to watch is the square of nine level. Again this are all observation and will monitor how it progress. All this pattern look good on retrospective, but key here is what happens next from now
Couple of other TCB on the chart (Yellow and Purple Circle), that look pretty much on the money.
Also the square square of nine level have touched on the right node quite a few times.

One question, are these square of nine level different to the one share earlier with the excel and also available here on site? (https://www.pivottrading.co.in/pages/gannSquareof9.php)
I found this indicator on other thread. There is another one i am testing which is free on MT4 market for Gaan square of 9, have to pay for 144. I have no clue though what these are. The indicator look quite good and have few different options. Not sure if someone can provide some more details or point in to the right direction for further study.
I am still on square the range, finish with secret angle.

Guys, the FF Police doesn't exactly like this thread. Please be aware there is no posting of Jenkins Books as FF doesn't like it, and Jenkins, is freaking out... However that doesn't stop you from asking a member to assist you with something in a post or privately, right?
