Who knows, everything could happen, but probably only after 3 Big US Banks will report after 13 CET and then after 15:30 CET.
So probably a deep deep red night + European morning in sight......

ES was testing all time high, probably resting sell orders got triggered cause this drop I think.

Not exactly ATH, that was around 3400 zone 19/20 February.
But there is a dangerous double top on going......

Don't know how long its going to change my behaviour.

I built up a nice long position pre-market NYC and took profit far too soon at 26,300. I'm at +$800'ish this week on futures only. Initially I wasn't going to withdraw profits, but it's just too tempting LOL! Bills gotta get paid still. It's big money for a little guy like me.

I missed this gap up at the close today, so I left plenty of profit on the table oh well (I will most likely re-enter longs between now and pre-market, slowly, if the setup is there...I think 27k is a big round number that we will likely hit)

All I did was 1 trade, scaled into it, and all-out to exit. A lot easier than 100's of trades I would normally do scalping.
And I'm finding more time for family which is my goal

If you go long micro S&P contracts for September, your worst case scenario would be like 50% loss of contract value. In which case you can always hedge with options. And if you have enough capital, scale in more contracts at big pullbacks Gotta be well funded to pull it off.
For micro DOW, that's like only $0.50 x 26,000=13,000/2=$6500 possible max drawdown going long only, based on my assumptions. Kickoff hedge way before that point if conditions demand it...otherwise let er' rip!!!

Just an idea. That's the way I've been looking at my trades lately. Getting stopped out hasn't happened at all since I started to increase my timeframe a tad bit.

It does look like a double top. A lot of fear mongering out there. Some of the fear is real. Banks are suppose to get hit with much bigger losses in Q4 apparently. I'm feeling like the worst has passed, but I could be wrong on that.

No, no ....I'm not trading and I will not trade US.
DAX is enough to erase our accounts in a while or to let you live in decent good way .

It was only a chart here, to understand what they wanted do...or better say to try to understand.....

Range is tight past 24 hours so I'm hanging onto my longs right now. I was long before 3 other times this week and got some nice pops to exit on and then back into longs on the dips. Keeping position small so I can swing it easily and sleep well at night Weekend hold is no problem on this too.
This area of consolidation is building momentum I think for a nice pop tomorrow or early next week. Just going off intuition and gut feel on that statement.

Yeah the DAX is a big contract, definitely can clean out the account quickly if not careful. Too bad they don't have a micro DAX.

Can't agree more with the things she said and I've accidentally been applying some of these things naturally, like not forcing myself to expect $xxx amount of profit per day.
