Has it been just a bad weed for my FB or is everyone else having a bad time of all this $ bad news. I know NFP is Friday, so I figured FB would love the ranging, but I guess it isn't ranging enough. So how about a little update, how is everyone doing this week????

Hi Rusty. I'm losing my A#$ a little at a time.

Trading only the EURUSD and USDCAD and going down, down, down, but slowly. It will take me several months to lose my whole account at this rate.
Don Life is expensive, but includes a free trip around the sun.

looking through the thread i see a wide rang of results....I wonder if the difference in data feed from the many platforms could be the cause.

Just as a matter of intrest what paltform/broker do you use.?

Iam using Interbank FX...

I had different demo accounts running with FB with different brokers and there is a difference..at least on the demo feed.

I tested with FXDD IBFX and Multibank and although the majority of trades came out within 1-2 pips difference,the final results all varied.

yes i have a indicator setup loaded on three different MT4 platforms and while two are close the other is miles away..on the signals..and thats what made me think that maybe its the trouble here with the ea performing differently...


and that maybe why I get very good results with the GBP/USD and other get losses..

List out the MT4 files here please so I could test them on NF demo account.

I am also running live on interbank FX, and was doing pretty well, untill the last two weeks. The last two weeks have really burned up my account badly.
Glenn5t, I have been running your settings on USDCHF, & EURUSD, with no trades the last two days. Sorry, 1 trade signal USDCHF, around 10:23 GMT on Tuesday 10/31, trade didn't go through do to a margin issue with my account (none left) but that is fixed now, but still no signals.

I started running the ea on a live account after testing it on a demo. I started live on the 2nd October with $275.00 and it now showing a balance of $526.00...

I find it works best with USD based pairs. and i only run three pair at this time......so it has less chance of running out of control...

I have been following this thread for a while and want to say thanks for the hard work of skyline, wackena, and many others. I also notice that skyline and genn5t seem to be doing the best using different settings. I wonder if someone could explain why people using the same settings are getting different results. It would be great if some of the people who are having success could share their thoughts on why it is working for them.

this is the results for the last two days....yes I only had one USD/CHF order as well.

Again GBP/USD the best reults.

I run Firebird V63G-TS

I belive it has to do with the steppip setting. I have mine on 40 as you see it makes a few trades therefore not putting my account at risk.

the point of the pipstep is to open a new position every time the pair move from the last open position.therefore if you have it at 10 it will open a new position every time the pair move 10 pips away from the last position it opened.
Therefore if the pair moved 50 pips you are going to have 4 trades.thats ok if your margin can take it.
And if your running 6 pairs well you could have at less 24 new trades .

Also I run my charts on 5 min TF.do not change the TF in the ea leave it at 15min.

A very good friend of mine back tested them for me and we found that the 5min TF gave the best returns.

And again I trade the GBP/USD...I know some of you dont but as you can see from the statement it returns the most.

Thanks for your reply glenn5t. So if I understand your setup correctly, you are running v63g-TS. You are running with 5min charts and 15min timeframe, 40 pip TP, 300 pip SL and you are using a 40 pipstep.

Your results are great and it is nice of you to share. I am going to use the same setup to forward test and see what results I get.
