Request an indicator that can be used as SIDEWAYS FILTER
use Average Directional Movement Index (default in to mt4)

  1. print only the number of ADX (current time period)
  2. can change the period of ADX
  3. can change where the ADX will print in the graph
  4. can add level (default level = 20) if the CURRENT adx level is above 20 print it in green color, and if is below 20 print it in red with a text "NO TRADE" (RED COLOR) example : ADX(14) : 35.021 , ADX(14) : 12.141 NO TRADE ! or


ADX(14) : 12.141

NO TRADE

  1. can config the size of the adx number that will be print (some use very big monitors)
  2. add alerts , email

The End of Trend indicator is my main concern. I dont trade 1min. I trade swing on 1 hr.
The Elliot_richtig_gut wave is better than semaphor.

How to use Elliot_richtig_gut
Buy
Green...........0,2,4 Elliot_richtig_gut
Sell
Pink..............0,2,4 Elliot_richtig_gut

Don’t Trade 1,3,5 Elliot_richtig_gut except you are a counter trader.

Take profit on opposite Elliot_richtig_gut. But if you are trading swing, I advice just lock in at break-even.
Like all indicators that tries to point out a reversal, it sometimes repaints but I had rather use it than semaphor. If anyone wants to see inside and maybe add alert if possible, find attached. Same indicator but different names.

repaints a lot. But one must know how to use it.

I have used a lot of indicators over the years. I have not found one that is good for what you are requesting. In fact, most of them suck. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to look for previous highs and lows on the Daily and Weekly. Wait to see how price reacts to these levels. Then trade accordingly.

Especially pay close attention to candles with long wicks, preferably wicks that are longer than the candle body. Price tends to reverse in proximity to such candles.

Remember, it's the higher time frames that give the best and most accurate signals.

P.S. Don't waste your time with Elliot Waves. They are subjective, and therefore, unreliable. It's best to keep things simple.

Perhaps the best indicator is Bollinger bands. Take a look at the BBMA system.

Also and Support and resistance indicator that refers to a higher TF. In reality most of these are not great. It is still best to mark up a chart yourself from the higher timeframes.

find some good indicators that not repaints (specific in close candles)
backtest them in demo account more than 100+ trades and 2+ years back
in 5+ pairs and prefer 1 day candle
create a profitable system = more than 50% profitability
forward test it in real time in a demo account more than 100+ trades and 2+ months
if it still more than 50% profitable ..
you are ready to go live

Horizontal Trendline + Price Description on the right side of the Trendline?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a script which allows me to drop it somewhere on the chart and then automatically a horizontal trendline is created there, with a description on the right side of the trendline showin the price (MT4's default behavior is: description are on the left side of the trendline).

Ideally, there is an option in the script (MQ4) to make the trendline continue as a "ray" to the right.
I've already seen scripts/indicators like this before, but I wasn't able to find one.

I have an EA request.

Stop loss will not be triggered unless closing price is above or below it (depending on direction of trade).

For example, suppose I have an open long position on EURUSD and I have a stop loss set at 1.12. Traditionally, once price hits 1.12, the trade would close. But with this stop loss, price must close below 1.12 (the stop loss) for the trade to close. Not the high or low price. Only the closing price. If the closing price is not above or below the stop loss, then the trade will remain open.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone would make this EA for me, and also add a magic number to it. Thanks!

Hi Here2There,

This is one of the few times I am going to ask this question - "Are you really sure you want this?"

In the event of a large move in a short span, you could lose a lot before your trade would be closed out. IMO, you'd be better off having a larger SL.
