Disliked{quote} Looks like you nailed it today. I covered my shorts near this level. Didn't do bad today but also didn't risk much or trade much today, +$157. This week up over $700. Real money. Practicing being patient. Knowing that there was volatility today, I kept my size down and amount of trades down. Kept stops wide to account for a big range. Was looking for a big sell day like yesterday, may still happen but a totally different price action today thus far. I only ripped through 58 contracts today vs 700+ yesterday lol. {image}Ignored
Disliked"The monthly S&P500 Emini futures chart has been in a bull trend for 11 years. However, the huge January/February selloff was a Bear Surprise. A Bear Surprise has a 70% chance of a 2nd leg sideways to down. In 80% of cases, the 2nd leg begins from a lower high. That is why I have been saying that the strong 3 month reversal up was likely to fail. June so far is a reversal bar on the monthly chart. It rallied and sold off. The Emini is currently near the low of the month. If the month were to close here, it would be a sell signal bar." -Al Brooks....Ignored
DislikedI got drawn into the heavy overnight volume and volatile conditionsoops. Kinda in the green, except I am waiting for my short to pan out. The massive selloff sorta stalled out, but I suspect we might re-test session lows? I'm carefully holding my smaller sized short and will add to it if market proves that I'm correct. Might be sideways till open though. I'll add to the short if I see lower 2 lower highs all lined up, or a clean break thru support.

Disliked{quote} Oh that meme is just perfect. I'll have to print it off. Today wasn't "hard" but I made it hard on myself. Came out in the green. Let the market prove your position first. Then add to it, and/or continue to scalp that direction heavily. A guy I mentor is on his 5th losing day in a row. Fear rules his trading. He refuses to work on behavior modification or look into the psychology angle. Once you know what to do in the markets, 90% of this is psychology, I swear. Understand the psychology and your odds of success probably double or triple....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Most of the time, its not having an edge is the problem before blaming the psychology. Getting the basics right is the core like any other aspects of life. There is a free video course, i can't empathise enough to go through this materials. Since its free, not many seems to appreciate Found answers to most of my questions still goes back there time to time . https://www.marketlifetrading.com/course/index {image}Ignored
DislikedI've been flat since 10am now. Drastically better day today. I see a possible long setting up right now. Range I'm watching is 26,000 to 26,300 If I've missed it oh well, probably won't take a late trade at this point, but I'll consider buying a pullback if it gives me the chance. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not in the mood for trade today ,Just rants. Took just 2 trades at the open , 3rd one just in could be loser, chart attached not just hot air. {image}Ignored
