They have a 14 days license trial. The software cost me about $164 CAD. But they also have a monthly subscription of about $17 CAD to keep updates and data connectivity from their servers.

Hello, I cannot tell about this, I don't have TickStory. Downloaded it once, but didn't buy the license. And I couldn't launch MT4 inside the App. Tick Data Suite is the first software of this kind I am using.
You might consider writing your strategy into Forex Tester. I use Real Tick data , with bid /ask floating spreads. Anything else is a waste of time. You can make lots of fake money with backtesting MT4. I ALWAYS write it and test the idea first in Forex Tester, then write the EA. Not to mention, you can use multi timeframes and baskets of pairs where you cant do this at all in MT4. If you have the EA source, you can convert it to Forex tester and run it.. I have never tried it as I write all my own code.. but its there.

Thanks for your input. I didn't know about Forex Tester, it seems a good software, but I already bought the Tick Data Suite license. This is for next time maybe. But I think Tick Data lets you backtest with floating spread too.

I used EABuilder.com to create my EA's. Even thougth I do not have MQL4 knowledge. I think what will be good is to improve the EA's. I have a bunch of EA's I have created for different pairs, I would like to improve them. When I put them on demo account and monitoring them most of them do give profits, but they tend to give profits for some time and them go to stagnation between 100% and 200% profits. The biggest profits I got so far from one of them is 560% profits. Those robots are robots I created with EABuilder but the strategy has been generated with ProQuant generator (application on PlayStore) or the generator from the ForexRobotAcademy.com website.

Of course I didn't have Tick Data to optimize them with 99.9% data quality neither so I don't know if the entire problem is with the Robot or the data quality I optimized them on. I habve bought the Tick Data Suite less than 2 weeks ago, and I am only at the second robot optimization, it's going pretty slow. At that speed it will take me months to optimize a dozen robots.

but i guess we need to have premium subscription to have EA building rights in EABuilder.com

Yes, bought the license. Was a good investment. One time payment, you can create as many robots as you want. It's better than buying a single robot that will stop working one day or another from a supplier.
