I have checked up my parameters of optimization in a post 434. They are true. I have decided to check up parameters on EURUSD so shaking system (increase maximal drawdown above historical) has begun. Besides has passed month after the announcement of those parameters.

The development of Phoenix 5 so far. Looking great! Hendrick, thank you for all your hard work and the rest of the crew for testing, support and help. This is evolving into something great!

Great! This is something I was keep thinking every time I heard for new version. We need some kind of comparism with (at leats) the original, 'Contest' version - regardless how namy bugs it has. Since the original is not bad at all or it wouldn't be at the top of the contest.
That way, you can see the progres in newer versions. And something else. Say new version just come out, we try it, we get in average say -300 pips and we conclude, nope, something is wrong with that one.
Well, maybe market condittions were really bad, maybe original (Contest) version would have even biger loss - from that view point, new wersion would be sucessfull.
So, my opinion is, that there should be few who are runnig some mayor 'old' versions for a longer period (half year?) and compare result with new versions.
Maybe, unless not, of course: just my thought.
I will try to do my share, but I'm first time user, all is confuzing and strange lol
So, backtesting is (for now) beyong my abilities, but forward testing I can probably hanlde lol
One quick beginner question. After I copied uncompiled version of expert (*.mq4) into 'experts' folder - this expert apeared inmediatelly in navigator. I tried and I could drag&drop it onto chart and there was that smilling face - !without previous compile it!?! - is this normal? Anyway, just to be sure, I did follow the script, load it into Editor and compiled it, just to be sure, so I don't know if trades would be executed or not...
Well, thanks again to all and specially to Hendrick. This group have big potential and I'm so glad I can be part of it.
