OPEC meeting is unlikely tomorrow which isn't a good news.

One more month cut extension is likely if other countries which didn't comply agree to make up the difference in coming months. Russia and Saudis have been pulling their weight so they dont seem to be too pleased with compliance of others.

I am expecting further fall from here to at least 34.50-35.

Crude oil seems stubbornly bullish to me. its shrugging off any bad news.I expect it to pop north this afternoon and continue to surge north

I actually shorted number of times today but always pulled back and stopped out at break even.
Now again short from 37.00 and my stop loss is again at break even. Hope it's going lower this time more decisively. Up around 40 cents now but might turn around pretty fast. I expect it to fall to around $34

Can't really tell what's going on - I think there is more negative news that there is positive ones but oil is stubborn as you guys pointed out

Not again... stopped out after being in profit around 90 cents...

Sell stops have to be triggered at the 36 level before cascading to the 34 level. Knowing that, where would you short if you wanted to for a quick play?



(BTW its still a bull market.)

fair... but dont think its going to be a major selloff so was trying to position myself as high as possible. I think there is possible good short right now as there is a resistance on the upside (nice pinbar on 5 min). but would keep stop tight. but anyway, i think i will call it a day

doubt it has enough juice to make a new high today, but if it settles here i think it will break the high later in the upcoming sessions

the way i see it is they spent most of the day trying to shake out anyone who tried to go long below. they succeeded in shaking me out once but eventually i prevailed

Ok understand. You trade very short time frame. 37.45 then would have been a good place to sell today, just below accumulated stops placed between tokyo and london open. Having said that an expected run to 34.50 with tight stops was quite a stretch.

this is what I was referring to. just when i gave up for the day... damn!
and keeps going lower - would have been 40+ cents in profit now.
