Didn't trade NY session.
Made 11%in 4 days in a structured manner.
I will have to sign up for the challenge again next week or should I practice another week
on a postive roll...

Hey if you can churn out 11% every 4-5 days, that's great (amazing actually, but totally doable). Structured or not, that's huge. As long as drawdown isn't too big.

After 11:30am today the PA was quite erratic. I wasn't trading it, but I would like to think I could've handled it...lol. It's probably good you were flat! And same for me, I prefer to be flat or very small size during those erratic periods. Fed Reserve Powell spoke today, not sure if that had an effect on it or not.

Took few trades at the open ,loss some won some ended at the first swing high. 3% for the day ,Stopped to avoid over trading.

from -4.62% to 2%.
Wait for the clear setup and start with small size.
Don't exceed more than 2.5% DD in a session.
Hitting 5 % DD in single session is clearly shows that i am not ready for another challenge.
Practice ,practice and more practice.

All morning long now I am just buying high, selling higher, but now I gotta rest on lifting the offer at this point lol. My weakness is being patient for a nice retrace or waiting for imbalance before I jump in.

Steenbarger is great for psychology. I've noticed the same thing, it's usually one weakness that repeats or will re-emerge. I think even the best traders are constantly fighting off old bad habits and need to take inventory often to assess their behaviors. Some personalities lead to over-trading (like mine!).

Now I'm seeing good selling at this level 26,369 but it's probably just taking a breather before going higher. I'm not buying it though, I'm waiting for a bigger retracement and if I miss out that's fine, I'm not chasing this today since I'm at target daily profit.

Alive and well mate!

I was less active but did a swing trade and struck a deal with my broker to reduce my commissions so that's a big win for me.

And now I'm on sidelines waiting to go long. Gotta see a healthy retracement, down to 26250 at least, to consider buying for me.
I expect this up trend to continue, so it's just a matter of buying dips at a good price (just in case of reversal on intraday range).

Patience is a virtue.
Need clear rules for entry criteria.
I have always wasted my margin on mediocre trades for the sake of trading itself.
Lately I am getting closer to the nitty-gritty of my bad habits and the set ups I need to focus on.
Still a long way to go but progressing.
Focus on your strategy based on Market generated information, apply rules to when and where to enter, max size, max loss limits for the trade or bunch of trades and daily loss limit.
