I really don’t understand all these comments.

Trump is right, period, China is forking us all over.

They breached a very important agreement on HK, which was there for international peace, also China forked up every country in trade agreement.

Of course the end customers were happy about it because it is cheap and the real price to be paid was in long term Only. Great for consumers in the short term but catastrophic for the economy, so now you’re blaming Trump ?!

Manipulation of their currency.

The collusion of Chinese companies with transport companies that for years declared less than 20usd to avoid vat taxes.

The selling of foreign counterfeit products totally legal in China.

Allowing most of the retailers/wholesalers/exporters to work without any registration (aka without taxes), aka cheaper and not fair.

Allowing most of them to have a company in HK without taxes because they operate «off shore» in China.

And worse of all, giving taxe rebates on exporter which is dumping.

All of these methods are called illegal by international standards, yet Trump is the bad guy ?!

My girl friend used to work in a company that was selling 17% beyond the cost price because they had 17usd rebate on each 100usd sale, this is called dumping and is illegal.

But if you Americans think that the Chineses are the victims...

I don't think you'll find any real supporters of CCP here. We aren't stupid or blind sheep either though. No one is disagreeing with Trump actually quite the contrary most of us agree with him on the China issue. They don't operate fairly on international terms. My thing is we wait until the last trading day of the month to "announce" some vague actions that your administration is looking into. That could've been a tweet or anything else we didn't need to wait for a press conference to hear a 10 min speech. Did you see how the markets reacted since yesterday to Trump until the moment we found out it was basically some vague details and stuff that we predict he'll do. It's not about orange man being bad but I like to hold accountability to individuals who hold the highest offices in the world.

I could literally say this was a pump and dump literally the 3 trades i took yesterday and today made me my whole money for the week in anticipation of this speech being a nothing burger which it was.

Punished WHO for what? Not asking people to take malaria pills??

It's easy to blame China for spreading the virus instead of admitting your own mistakes in the fight against it.
The truth is that most countries were very poorly prepared and decided to ignore the seriousness of the disease. In many cases the biggest damage has been made in countries with populist leaders. The price for believing lies and empty promises will be huge in those counties in the form of damage to economy and number of deaths. Hopefully next time people think who they vote for.

from the very beginning all thinking about herd immunity !! what a shame , even before a country get a single case . ok when every countrywise failed to contain 1-2 cases only , should understand their own national capabilities and react proactive , ignore WHO advice and save the nation!

Chinese steal technologies from other countries. So, Chinese companies should be banned from buying high tech companies.
I thought stealing IP was about stealing from a companies or infringing other IP> Turns out for China, its a different thing altogether!
