Most of the time, when I post "reasoning paragraphs", I'm copying from my Moleskines.
But how is it possible that I always have, ready and cooked, an appropriate quote or citation from an Author?
Who am I?
What's in my brain?
Where does my insanity come from?

But the main question is: is all that necessary to have good performances? You judge. (Discussion is open! )

It's a pursuit that is profitable... but it's not for the slow minded or weak hearted. (This is a classic Livermore expression! LOL)
You must be *resolute... *strenght of will is an absolute requirement
as is *discipline, *concentration, *study and a *calm disposition.

The reading of "moment by moment" transactions in a stock...

This is where all my ideas come from!

By PROPER MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS we do not mean the mere ability to take a loss, define the trend, or execute ...
I refer to the active or dormant qualities in his make-up.

The power to force himself into the right mental attitude before trading.
To control his emotions: fear, anxiety, elation, recklessness
To train his mind into obedience so that it recognizes but one master: the tape.

These qualities are as vital as natural ability (or what is called the sixth sense in trading).
Some people are born musicians... others (seemingly void of musical taste) develop themselves until they become virtuosos.

The crowd is so stupid.
And someone else has a great interest in keeping them ignorant.
But the real problem is that it is not easy to free from their chains those who worship those chains!
However...
There is no other place where ignorance of things and history reigns as in the trading business.
There is no way to build a total image of the reality of the market and all the different methods of approach that exist or have existed
except by killing yourself with years and years of study and reading.

Absurd.

I have been studying for ten years... and I have found only one attempt to go in this direction.
Noble effort. But incomplete, confuse, difficult to read and in my opinion with the wrong setting.

Another way to kill yourself by reading!
Only for courageous souls with a solid and complete preparation! Absolutely not for beginners, trust me.

Charles Henry Dow: - The first issue of The Wall Street Journal appeared on July 8, 1889. Dow wrote his last editorial in April 1902.
Jesse Lauriston Livermore - His first big win came in 1901 at the age of 24 when he bought stock in Northern Pacific Railway. He turned $10,000 into $500,000. In the Panic of 1907, Livermore's huge short positions made him $1 million in a single day.
William Delbert Gann - He started trading in 1902 when he was 24. Gann wrote his novel “The Tunnel Thru the Air in 1927.
Richard Demille Wyckoff – Gann's Ticker's interview was held in 1909.

Richard W. Schabacker - In the 1920s and 1930s, he published several books which continued the work of Charles Dow.
Ralph Nelson Elliott - He wrote the Wave Principle, his third book, in 1938.
