yes im confused also, my TE is my challenge which comes up as demo but within my MT4 app it says its a live account

It's there demo sever for challenges but because it's the same/live data feed it shows live.... They have the funded accounts on live/live feed server, challenge verification and trial on the demo/live feed server... Does that make sense

haha! that makes sense, same data feed all round, just seemed odd that TE says demo but MT4 app says live

According to FTMO support you can hold anything overnight and over the weekend when you're still not funded. Which obviously will get you comfortable and forget on the funded account... Then BOOOOOOOOM!!!! You Fail

ya I read that also, but when I do the challenge I want to prepare as if Im going to pass so follow the rules as the real account.

i mean why not go for the big one? the rules are easy to abide by with good risk management. i have had a pretty crap start to the week had a run up to +3% got into trades to early now down to 1%.

my understanding is once you pass the challenge and verification you have then been funded once you then make your first withdrawal you get a refund but if all goes to plan i'll just get them to give me another 100K account start the process again up to 300K but see how we go first..

Sure. I wish you good luck I really do.

Obviously some people are succeeding otherwise they wouldn't be able to continue trading. Just hope that they're not mainly making profits through a steady stream of new client subscriptions!

I was a trader on the Jarrat Davies( JD) funded trader program, and they stopped funding as they had problems with them system, and then recommended recommended FTMO. The offer and the rules were better than what i was used to.
I was happy that JD had done the research already, and checked this company ( FTMO) stating it was one of the best in Europe. I too did what i could do over the internet.
I like the offer , instruments to trade is wide, the profit sharing is great 70% for the trader, and you get back your challenge fee, after the first month when you are in profit.
I can confirm that it happened, i received my challenge fee direct to my debit card, a day after the month end, and on invoice i received my 70% of the profit direct to my bank account.
What i do like further is that every 4 months,the scaling plan , adding 25% more into your account if you have achieved 10% profit., and with 16 months you could be trading account that is doubled. I hope that i will achieve this.
The challenge phase was a bit difficult for me, i took third attempt to get the numbers, once that was done successfully then the verification phase was much easier.
Also another important point , the good offer from FTMO, is that when you are on the challenge phase, and close the month in profit, you can still retake the phase again at no extra cost.
I believe the company is very good and reliable . I do expect to work with them for several years.

if you get two funded accounts, and with one of the two you make a few mistakes (like breaking the rules) and the account is closed..the other continues on its way without suffering consequences?

If challange was hard how the rest is easy because exept trading days the risk is allways there!? I see you are new at ff!?

Come on buddy, challenge is hard because off the profit target with the time limit for lots of people mentality... Once you pass that, there goes a lot of pressure off..., that's why I don't like the time limit, let people make 10% at there own pace...

Definitly trading your own 1K in peace of minde is better than their ilusion 10 K under presure i tell you because i have lost the game just for 0.58$ because their "magic" account metrix has stooped working! Be aware of these dirty game FTMO! Have a good and safe jorney in traading your own money I em leaving the thread.
