DislikedI do not get the point of this indicator. Given currency turnover measured by Bank of international settlements there are three main currencies having the strongest impact on spot forex market. These are US. Dollar with 88% market share, Euro 32% and Yen 17%. Perhaps GBP with 13% market share can be also count in the group. These currencies and especially USD, EUR and JPY are main drivers for rest of the currency market . Now what is the rationale behind averaging price changes of 28 currency pairs and deriving G8 currency strength indicator when...Ignored

When I take EURUSD (which is effectively USD index) and compare it with USDJPY and GBPUSD I see "whole" market at once. This way I see what are main currencies doing and because rest of the currencies are just minor and dependent on USD, JPY and EUR they must be traded towards main currencies See big discrepancy between the currencies below. Once one currency runs out too much it must return towards USD, JPY and EUR. That's nature behavior for spot forex. Anyway I won't be...Ignored
