Here's another version using trailing stops. Let me know how you get on. I tried back testing and it seemed okay. Not great results.

Hello fellow traders.

Can anyone help me with this:

I am looking for a EA that would place a buy stop and a sell stop at the close of specific H1 candles (not every candle, but at specific time of the broker ex.: 09:00; 13:00; 16:00 etc).

 

  1. *Buy stop higher than the high of the candle and sell stop below the low of the candle by "X" (customizable) pips (ex: 50, 70).

(This one may be a bit tricky because if the previous candle closes at the low or high, the market may not accept the pending order.)

  1. All orders must have a Stop Loss of "Y" (customizable) pips.
  2. Lot size of "Z" (manual entry).
  3. (I wouldn't use a TP since I close my orders manually, but someone may find benefit if there was this option).
  4. It would be nice if was possible to add an "expiration time" for the orders or a funtion to delete previous pending orders before adding new ones (so they wouldn't overlap).



I wasn't able to find such EA do you know something with such parameters?.

Why did you need open position in specific time of broker? I did not get your idea.
If you just want to open position as the price breakout of the range with plus pips (customizable) I will code it for you, its quite simple.

I scalp the M1, M5, M15 chart using the divergence strategy and the indicators i use is bollinger bands and RSI. I currently need help in coding a part of the EA for this strategy. I trade when the market is volatile, meaning with the bollinger bands are wide and almost parallel, the problem with my bot now is it even picks up bollinger bands squeezes as trade setups and this is where my problem lies, how do i code the part where the Bollinger bands between the high and the higher high on the price are almost parallel, to filter out the squeezes and flared out bands.

Do you have the MQL4 file? I want to understand the indicator and how it working.
I am not sure how repaint or disappear after price is change direction.

When testing this can you make your MA Trend Line Period 12 instead of 10. This will likely reduce repainting as that is how I use it on manual. Unfortunately my laptop broke down and my back up note pad has no space in the hard gig as its just a light weight toy by CONNEX.

Do you see how frequency repainting? I just observed on yesterday. it appear at below purple dot line, but it disappear. i just want to know how is repaint after long trend.

Unfortunately any indicator that picks top and bottom will at sometimes repaints. Even when you back it up with another non repainting indicator, so I am thinking it depends on when new data comes to the mt4.
