Yeah Brixen, I like that term "survivor" ha!

Well I hit target profit for today, and this is a flat do-nothing range until it breaks out. Cumulative delta is telling me that size is selling into/absorbing the buying for right now so I slightly favor scalping short, which can flip on a dime of course.

Some of the "larger" lots of 6/11/13 contracts were sold around 9:36am. Let's see if we can squeeze them in a short squeeze!

It was a nice sell off since LO 300 points.
Scalped 50 ticks earlier what was supposed to be 1 good short on Normal conditions but fear engulfed my thinking couldn't trade the way I wanted. Running out of risk capital, self doubt creeps in not to lose over and over again. Simply put Scared money is lost cause.

I know about the scared money feeling, you'll shake it off!
Well don't feel bad, I didn't do all that well but finished in the green even after commissions.

I almost got stampeded in my last short. The hint to flip my short and reverse to long was a 46 lot buy order around 10:30ish.
Cumulative delta has been at divergence basically all day, at least the way I've been reading it.
I would've been better off stopping at daily profit target as usual, whoops

I just tell myself, hey it's only Monday, 4 more days to rack it up!
Somedays we just scratch by, but live to trade another day

Gains may happen, losses will surely happen, but constant and regular profits are so difficult to made..... it seems you are on this way! Bravo!

A book I recommend, for trading psychology, if anyone is interested:
"The Daily Trading Coach" by Brett Steenbarger

Psychology is usually the weak spot for discretionary traders.
I find that even if I'm doing well, I find little hang-ups to improve upon constantly. It's amazing how many flaws you can find by using a simple journal.

Good morning RMG & crew

Calling it a day here in Corona Town
Sold nervously into the open and kept selling, covered for profit and then I sold into that 9am pop, added more, waited it out and exited that short yet again... Maybe at some point the lower highs will break upwards, but I don't see it yet, certainly anything can happen. I say in my head as I trade "the counter trend forces are at work" and I focus like a laser on the tape...

If I re-enter the same side/same trade, I try to go smaller.

I was trading for the the ftmo challenge 1st day 3% loss stopped trading. I was on the wrong side of the momentum all day. Tomorrow is another day.

Can i ask what size account you are doing challenge for??And you can trade futures with FTMO???

Not really, you will have 30 days to achieve 10%, daily loss limit of 5%, overall 10% draw down allowed.
$1250 is daily loss limit.
I was selling all the way to the high, closed all just to see target levels reached without me. Lol.
