As long as you keep your M1 chart open the Renko chart will automatically update itself. If you spend a few days without opening the charts you may have to delete the Renko chart and reload it. This is easy to see by looking at your M1 chart or the Renko chart to make sure that there is no gap.

Unless the M1 and the Renko charts are on a VPS it's next to impossible to have a 6 months Renko chart. This is because there are usually gaps in the data shown leading to a chart similar to my 4 May chart. Having only 2-3 days of data on a Renko chart is quite enough to produce good trades
