I have continued with my TrendRider setups and more setups that use exit signals rather than TP/SL:

TrendRider variations:

MACD is trying to recovery after some heavy DD:
Ichimoku(240) + HAS1(60,T,F,F,1,3,1,1,T), surprisingly there is very little longer term trends indicated by Ichimoku.

Trying out a few different variations of closing Trend Rider with different time frames. The H4 entry tests are not really a fair contest between H4 close and H1 close as they are on different OANDA practice servers so some of the trade entries are slightly different. The H1 entry M15 close test was started on a completely different day and ran out of graph space. Will keep the H4 entry ones running and going to shut down the H1 entry to try something different.

Here are some trades that are still open in my preliminary testing so far.
I am just letting them run to see what a good SL may be or other improvements should be made.
There have been some losers also and I am studying those to determine how best to avoid them or get out at minimum loss.
Any ideas are always welcome and will see how it goes on Friday and maybe put together a video to give you an idea as to where I stand right now with tonight's test run.
At this time I am not using 240 MA or HAS for confirmation as they were just a little slow in getting in on the first start of a trend on the H1.
It seemed like when using those you didn't get in until you had a pull back in the trend, and by then you may have missed most of the trend or even all of it as you may not have a pull back and MA cross to signal an entry. You can see the H4 HAS trend in the images below by the arrow at the right of the chart but it is not being used and of course at this time agrees with the trade as it is well into the trade, the MA H4 trend signal is even a little slower than the H4 HAS.
At this time I am playing the swings mainly on the H1 so I don't care what the overall longer term trend is as we can get some nice swings in both directions, so why limit ourselves to just one direction.
Eventually I may want to use those trend pull backs to add to the trade.
Things are different when using an EA as it does not have the same view of the entire chart you would have if doing it manually.

Here are 3 that launched trades.
There were 3 previous trades also that had closed.
The gray box is the trade window where the ma cross has to be.
No higher time frame MA or HAS being used in this setup.
A fixed SL is shown on the chart which is added when the trade opens and is placed around the ma cross point +-.
Also using an opposite ma cross of the 8 and 21 to close the trade.
Also the Green or Red "X" to exit a trade.
Will look into other possible exits such as trailing SL along with a possible add to trade once in a trend.
The Green and Red dots are the last UP and DOWN fractals which the BO line is based on.
These are the swings in both directions I am trying to catch.
The "X" is something I am playing with to use as an exit to keep me in the trade for max pips if possible.
Green "X" = Long exit and Red "X" = Short exit. They are only painting back a couple hundred candles or so as that is plenty on the H1, so they don't show all the way back as far as the chart goes. These do re-paint so have a tendency to be early in a real live trade as the chart updates, but better to be early than late.
Further tests would be to see if it is better to trade the individual pairs or trade them as a basket with a Basket EL.
So far I like what I see, but only more time will tell if it has real legs or not and put in the round file. LOL
