I understand your view point. Might be a good idea for all of us to have a primary market and one on the 'back burner' just in case we need to switch gears for a few weeks because of liquidity/volatility/political issue etc.

-35 Yesterday, but I was testing something relatively new on a live market which was kind of stupid. Much better today from a PA movement point of view.

Ended + 21, missed loads.

Not clever enough to spot 123's but I like lines. But I have to beware Ranges and always remember to look Left

my schedule changed for the next few weeks so I am missing the NY session. just checked in, indexes moved up quite a bit. hope all benefited from the
move up, even if you used lines T. relegated to the asian session, saw this possible per Trader Vic's set up for 1-2-3. dropped down for
12 ticks below buy line but per his rules, you put the stop at bottom green line, so it would have been ok. last checked it then jumped to 9093
for the win. anyways, another way to look at 1-2-3's.

Wonder what the stop size was? It would also be nice to see performance over say a month.

So this month live for me, hardly earth shattering + 60, last couple of days rough. But, if I had a cat, I could theoretically buy some treats for it. I managed to get my emotions under control which is a bonus I guess. Toward the back end of the month I tweaked something and it screwed up my decision making process. So I canned it quickly. Always useful to keep logs to diagnose. The zero in the table was 2 entries from memory.

Some of you may find this useful. I have been using this over the last 3 months. The above should be a link to a useable template that I made with google Sheets.
I can track multiple instruments, calculates your win average, loss average, win/loss ratio (Sharpe?), as well average gross profit and net profit. You will just have to change a couple of cells to reflect whatever your commission is per trade. I also posted a pic of an example month so you can see what it looks like filled in.

In regards to the trades and contracts cells, i simply add my current result to the info already there. Also, I split the trades up to see if i can identify a trend. The Buy PB is a buy pullback. A trade that is out side of the 123 entry. Here is an example:

Well, wow, just checking the volume levels on TradingView between NQ and MNQ on 15min, the micro is beating the volume on the mini. Quite surprised to see that, but it looks like the micro ES and micro NQ have really grown into something . . .

..joined the 50k topsteptrader combine in Jan, what a learning curve since then! - come close to blowing up intraday a few times. The rules certainly keep you focused on risk first and being able to keep in the game. (NQ and 1 lot). Happy Friday and good trading everyone.

In an environment that often requires 10 to 20 point stops the micros have appeal for sure. Also flexibility: 10 micros = 1 mini, so scale in and scale out while keep risk profile more or less static is a benefit ads well. Other than transaction fees being significantly higher for the micros, they really have a lot to offer.

Top step is one of the toughest evals to pass in my opinion. You basically have to complete it twice. Some of the tightest rules in the business. Best of luck to you. It really does teach you some valuable trading lessons.

last couple of weeks have been tough was getting 8+ net wins a week down to 4 net wins a week still not trading wednesdays and stopped night trading a few weeks ago so ill just stay the course 24 is target and stop these days with 4 contracts

Flat day, covered my trades. + 17 but way too many trades. Good practice though huh? Have a good one guys & gals.
