When I opened my chart the trend was ongoing already with some huge moves so the only thing I could do was to wait on a retracement.

From left to the right @8.00am / @8.30am / @9.30am and Entry @9.43am. Watch how EUR / GBP and JPY were moving!




And yes I know the EURJPY is violating the rules because of the news on EUR but hey, I'm trading with my money and made a good profit within the past 2 weeks hence, who cares.

Friend Jibalapasan, today I am doing the following:
1) I wait for the H4 candle from 00:00 to 04:00 to close and 5 minutes before, I look at the maximum of this candle and the minimum of this candle, and try to see the strength of the following pairs: AUDUSD, AUDJPY, NZDUSD and NZDJPY. The force being favorable 1x8, I place a pending BUY STOP order (above the maximum) or a SELL STOP pending order (below the minimum) of this H4 candle.

2) I wait for the H4 candle from 08:00 to 12:00 to close and 5 minutes before, I
I look at the maximum of that candle and the minimum of that candle, and try to see the strength of the following pairs: EURUSD, EURJPY, GBPUSD and GBPJPY. The force being favorable 1x8, I place a pending BUY STOP order (above the maximum) or a SELL STOP pending order (below the minimum) of this H4 candle.

3) I wait for the H4 candle from 12:00 to 16:00 to close and 5 minutes before, I
I look at the maximum of this candle and the minimum of that candle, and I try to see the strength of the following pairs: USDCAD and CADJPY. The force being favorable 1x8, I place a pending BUY STOP order (above the maximum) or a SELL STOP pending order (below the minimum) of this H4 candle.

See EURJPY today, it had a maximum of 115.94 on the closed H4 candle from 08:00 to 12:00, placing a pending BUY STOP order at level 115.98. price has skyrocketed.

See CADJPY today, it had a minimum of 76.38 in the closed H4 candle of
12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, place a pending SELL STOP order at level 76.36, see what happened.

Note: I always look at the strength using the CM_Strenght indicator, but Jibalapasan would like to obtain a strength indicator more effectively, as he would like to see one currency accelerating and the other losing acceleration, to obtain the ideal GAP.

Hi Jibala,

Yes, I know momentum is equally important as Gap change. As mentioned by Maria, the criteria to enter Buy is 1) Strength Gap of Currency X and Currency Y increased to 3.5 AND 2) Bid ratio of Currency Pair XY > 75% in 15M TF. I see you only post dashboard for absolute strength. Do you have another one to monitor strength gap? It's impossible to catch it by naked eye I believe.

using CSM only! Taking a screenshot when starting up before Frankfurt open and then take another screen every some minutes or hours depending on market conditions.

I set the trades from my Laptop by using simple / naked chart but I watch all 8 pairs on a big 55" screen. It's the very best to have the pairs side by side to compare how they are moving.

This 55" screen was a very good investment. Better than having 4 or 8 screens which would need a lot of space.

if so, the buys seem to be both in violation.

what you see in the chart is always at the end of the 15m candle. When trade was triggered it was ok. Also the GAP on CSM was ok but sadly no momentum.

Todays market remembers me a little bit on island hoppingin the Philippines. Up and down but no clear direction. I set a pending on EJ & EU but just the very next candle it went opposite again. Posting 2 charts of EU to show why I had to wait until all is in green!


I'm out for now, going to the grocery and will be back in the afternoon.

P.S. Unfortunately the EU was triggered exactly @10am and went straight to SL.
