It s very easy to declare a bug but is it a bug with the Symbol changer? or perhaps your Alert indicators? or something else?

If your Alert indicators rely on Price then it is not going to work because if you think about it an Alert level set for a price on a USDJPY simply cannot apply to a new chart opened on GBPUSD as the price values are in a completely different range. Its the same issue others have had with trend lines as they are based on price. If the Alert indicators do not rely on Price then I suggest you have a good look at your indicators and see if they refresh to a default setting if you change timeframes or charts without using the Symbol changer indicator.

Can you do something about it?
Short answer is I probably can't do anything about it.

My Alarms indicators work just fine on independent charts.
Another issue is that when I switch to other instruments using Symbol Changer Profit indicator, it copies objects from the previous chart. If I delete them on one chart, it will delete them from another chart.

It is an indicator not an EA so Symbol Changer Profit Display in it's present form cannot be used to activate trades.

Hi cja...firstly thank you for this incredibly useful indicator! I have an issue (apologies if this is a very simple fix which I am just missing), but when choosing to manually select pairs that I want displayed - the buttons to then toggle between the pairs no longer work. They work fine when I select to auto select from Market Watch' but not manually - am i missing something? Thanks'

It sounds like you are not allowing for a suffix or prefix for your manually selected pairs. Have a good look at the Symbols label on your chart.

That did the trick, I figured there was a simple fix which I was being silly and missing, thanks!

Hi CJA. Thank you for this awesome indicator! The indicator does work with .lmx sufflix, only the problem is, that i can insert less pairs than i do on other brokers without sufflix. Is it possible to insert the sufflix separate from the pairs, so i can add more pairs?.

Hi, im just wondering if you managed to fix this as i am having the same issue, i really like this indicator but why it copies trendlines from one chart to another is really puzzling!

Its not puzzling at all if you have a MACD or RSI loaded on a chart and change the Symbol then the indicators remain on the new chart its the same with the Trend lines but because they are based on a specific price the trend line stays at that price. For example if you have a NZDUSD chart and put a horizontal line at 0.59830 then change the chart to AUDUSD you will find the line at 0.59830 on that chart if you changed the chart to GBPUSD the line would still be at 0.59830 but you would have to compress the chart to see it. Short answer I have not found a solution to this and doubt I will because the only solution I can see would be to delete all trend and horizontal lines when a chart changes then people would complain about that so its a no win situation.

Wow. thanks so much for your indicator. I have a question about the code. What is the code to move an indicator from the main window to an indicator window. I could use that for other applications.
