US Futures are open. The reaction was the same. I'd be wary for upside at this moment. I'll go in only on a breakout of 450 and a successful retest. For now 350 is the base for me, I am playing small off that level.

We all know that historically DAX wild horse after a huge nearly 500 pips wide range yd, the day after is tired, so tired and often remains in strict narrow range.....
And Yes, 350/370 zone is doing again his work as main support!
We'll see US next 45 min what want do.....

What is really sensational for me is the strict stop and the wide target, I guess it's around 1:4 or 1:5 as risk reward, even more.
What is really hard to me is that I have to leave my only love DAX otherwise I could wait sometimes for days, is it correct Pipfarm?

hehe well Deutsche Bank Tower in Frankfurt is right next to the red light disctrict, you can get anything there.
And not to forget, Germans nowadays are masters of faking numbers and data.. even DAX is kind of a fraud (as compared to other indices)

Hey Brixen, perhaps I can suggest you have a brief look at oil futures. I think their mean reverting patterns will suit your style of trading.

Originally the stop would of been at the top of the channel as i entered early once i figured out what was going on, after it broke the 5 swing channel i moved my stop to where it is in the photo as i assumed that is the top of the breakout swing.

No need to leave DAX , just wanted to show you the entry method , have a good look at the top im sure you will work it out but of course if you want to trade currencies believe me they work exactly the same as the indexes except there is a bit more waiting around as the volatility is not as high.

1. Yes, understood. Stop higher or lower (long) and then shifted.
2. I'm not attracted by currencies or other Indices, but I'm aware that waiting for a right set.up only on 1 financial instrument as DAX can limit my activiy and I could have some day without trades, specially if you compare to current Chaotic trading style, as you said a couple years ago (and I like very much this definition).
