Disliked{quote} Bookmarked this a while back, finally got around to it when I realized I don't have a fancy smancy MA crossover indicator, here it is: MA_Crossover_Styles - 2 moving averages, full style customization - Methods: simple, exponential, smoothed, linear weighted, Hull and zero lag || SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA, HMA, ZLMA - MTF ability: from 1min to 1month, additional timeframes (...if anyone's going to use them) are 2-3-4-6-10 min, 2-3-6-8-12 hour, (...got carried away) - MTF function is manually constructed so it will work offline and in the strategy...Ignored
Have to try it - but thanks a lot for thinking about me. That's a very nice gesture.
Minor mistakes in the code -
1. Up and Down entries don't change colour but colour remains the same - regardless of up and down.
2. Colour up actually shows as colour down and vice versa on several instances in your setup.
I didn't go through all instances and possibilities because I think it's easier to check this in the code.
You have a somewhat weird numbering on additional TFs starting eg with 2 hours (which isn't MT4 Standard; M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D, W, Mth)
What if I trade M15 and want H1 as reference?
Why does your indicator automatically use black as standard background instead of the user's standard background?
Why do you change the candles instead of using the user's standard?
So could this approach be a trifle eccentric in any way?
