I was even tempted to buy something 2715 zone and slight above 2700 zone, but downtrend stopped at 2720.....

This is going to be embarassing...
I REALLY over-traded today badly!
but I must be honest and post.

Ended up throwing in the towel at +$40
How did I churn over 450 contracts today?
Silly

Barely came out ahead. It's only worth it when I stop early.
Started session +$140 from 5am to 6am - should have called it a day before the open!

Tomorrow I'm taking it easy

Wow, low to high day, nice rally so far buy the Dips but to hell with margin requirements. I will have to wait.

Today I'm looking to be a seller as long as Dow is under 23,891 for today. Selling every pop if PA confirms it...
but I allow my bias to flip as needed and being very flexible, and absolutely less than 100 contracts today LOL!

I learned my lesson from yesterday, so I am DONE today with a nice enough profit +93 futures on DOW and +63 from ETF ticker UDOW (swing long from yesterday afternoon). Stress free day today.

Survived a deep red day dd was -500 ticks.
120 micro lots traded before comms $151.

Hey RMG, does your broker hit you hard with commissions on Micro lots? 120 micros would be $25 for my commissions

I may have mis-quoted my commission rate, but I believe my total round turn cost (to enter and exit combined) is around $0.62
PM me for the broker name and I'd be happy to share. I'm not trying to advertise them at all, but I'm really happy with my current broker and they beat my old broker ThinkorSwim by a lot...ThinkorSwim charges $3.00 round trip for a micro and $5.00 for a mini. Insane, especially for scalping or any amount of trading really.

Always OK to stop when you get hit a couple times in a row to prevent revenge trading. Easier said than done, I know myself!
We have the drive to fight and hit back especially when our chips are down.

That's a cool cheetah.
I nailed 2 little short trades this morning, nothing amazing.
Now stopping since I'm ahead for the day +$89.

Updating my notebook trade journal and doing some re-training on a "new" orderflow platform+lessons which I bought 2-3 months ago.

I have order flow tools with Sierra, was using it a while but came to realise that I don't need to. I will look into it time to time.
I am better off with my candles.

Sometimes I feel the same way (do I really need it?). The platform I have for order flow is called Daytradr, by Jigsaw. Best thing I like is the cumulative delta count which shows if there's an imbalance of contracts by constantly keeping track, by adding and subtracting the contracts that hit via time and sales (so it will go from negative on a sell off to slowly climb positive) . There's a summary tape showing all time & sales for each price instead of seeing all the orders separated. Shows me if the orders are market orders or limit orders.

I've got very few indicators and I don't follow anything religiously. None of it is perfect at all, no holy grail, not even close.

I forced myself to dig into the training for Jigsaw since I dropped about $850 on it. Money well spent but definitely glad it came with training videos because I couldn't figure out any of it LOL.
