77.78 winrate
0.85 payrate
9/week frequency

thats a pretty good system !

I will start foward testing it to get that 100 trade baseline

Hello,

If I were you, I would open another account and transfer 1/3 of the money from the current account to the new one. Then trade the current account with 1% risk and the new one with 3% risk(or even higher risk like 4-5%). Although you don't get the "most" out of your system, you risk is actually smaller.

The only worry about going crazy in your system is because you are trading 3 corelated pairs namely GBP, EUR, CHF against USD. The worst case from your backtesting result may cause 70-80% drawdown. Although no one can predict the future, I think it would be wise to have one account on a more conservative approach while running the other one with crazy settings.

I eventually decided to go crazy. I raised my risk level to 3% (i.e. VAR=3%). You can view my trading journal for the results. I usually post them on a weekly basis.

Puppy,

It's a reasonable advice, but it's too late. I went crazy already. If I make some money in the future, I'll definitely secure part of it somewhere.

I do not recommend live trading before demo trading. You need to make sure that you have no issues with your broker and you feel quite comfortable with the system.

Greetings Al, will you be releasing your settings for the additional pairs you are testing any time soon? I have the EA on the CHF pair at this time and will report in my findings. I've done my best to read each of the threads from beg.to.end that you linked to in each of the posts, just wondering.
