About the same job as our Prime Minister by the looks of it, initially touting herd immunity and "we're not testing", did a U-turn on that, still looks like they haven't recovered from the initial decision not to test! LOL clowns the lot of them. It's not like front-line workers are not important to test, my wife is one of them!

Governors and Mayors here are howling that they need 10,000's of ventilators. The factory near here that turns out those Cadillac models only usually makes 150/month. The US military's strategic stockpile of ventilators is only a few 1,000. Nobody but nobody nowhere was ready to produce 100,000's of ventilators.

Time has been lost by stupid politicians dragging their feet and that has cost many lives. Nothing was going to change the fact that this virus was going to kill millions of people, though.

Let's face it, when a 1,000-ft tidal wave or a wicked virus is bearing down on you, you only have a little time to think about what you could have done differently.

At this point, the slim silver lining is that we will be better prepared for the next pandemic....well we can hope anyway.

Goldman Sachs raises their forecast to 6mln from 5.25mln - Overall survey range prior to this was 1.5mln-5.25mln

After I am done buying a few airlines I will probably go ahead and pick up a cruise line or two. I bet I have enough change in the couch cushions....

Yeah I need to read up on OXY some more but I think he has a deal to claim their leases if shtf. He prolly hass loopholes inside of loopholes out the yinyang. I am not planning on risking much on OXY, will likely look at XOM instead.

Problem with the shale oil is it is mostly exported, so it has to compete with the world (US refineries are set up to run heavier crude than the shale) - it has to compete with SA oil in the world market. So if Trump sticks tariffs or limits on SA oil, it would not help the shale producers.

i bough XOM but little wanted to buy more near 30 but it just went up
made some money yesterday on wti. not a lot and close it fast. and jump another dollar without me
i think prices are really depressed, i would buy again below 20
also look into CVX looks better then XOM on balance sheet. i mean on past balance sheet

lets not forget the ones we do have in stockpile. Many dont work. The contract to maintain them was canceled. So many already delivered were useless. Lets not forget what's still gone on. The U.S. is still exporting the items our front line workers need, including ventilators The moron hasn't stopped it. He rathers his chamber of commerce buddies jack up the price. He rathers the states bid the price up against each other.

Yes I think you're right he did follow. Although will stand behind the disclaimer, it was medical advice we received about herd immunity LOL. He's a slightly smaller but no more intelligent version of DT. You have to laugh, you simply couldn't make it up!

CCL looks like toast to me. I am not gonna risk much on any of the cruise ship plays. Airlines will have to survive, we can't cancel air travel and maintain any semblance of Life as We Know It.
