For me it's not a question of indicators, it's a question of staying with current trend, your trend, whatever the time frame you trade.
Then the volatility is inversely proportional to the time frame you trade, so adapt your lot size accordingly.

large lay offs already happened, employment numbers on april 1, I wonder if it's going to pump it up slowly in anticipation of deep red.

ok so yes my indicators are going the same. ok fine with that

but at the change of trend or at some BS moves for some reasons - wil hit me and take my profits down.

it happen in february at the stupid raise of EU - and i was like yest good trend

1 M - 5 _ 15M - 1H - 4H - Daily and so on and position were not that small since it went perfect until then.

same thing now. we are making unreal profits. and you get to this point whenre you feel very confident relaxex. and just well let's open here respect the system
than adding and so on. and while i am not into leverage but i know how i trade will just eat from profits

that's why 1st rule for me is try to trade even smaller.

well this is the problem. you are going to see huge moves without retrace just like February eur so you cannot add to hedge and you cannot reduce position comfortably because of going like a rocket

yesterday I put a picture of a trade close before a 500 pip rally - while i don't see anything to brag about this it was for sure a dumb trade. we could have never go back to that price.

oh and yes. because of system working extremly well in trends. and lack of leverage i don't use stops only if i want to add to something that's on loss and the loss over all acount begins to get close to 10% or even higher. a little bit

Hello DMA,
I reduced size by 4 since when ADR(14) was around 40. That is equivalent to reduce leverage.
Plus, every day, when I hit my daily target I stop trading.
No matter if I could have made much more

And on top of that, I think that many of us are feeling that FOMO syndrome that push to take that trade, but remember, we are not living normal times, and we better be prudent than burned.

i don't believe in daily targets. i've gone aggressively as the market went. i made probably the expectation of an year this month -
so why would i stop trading

with leverage yes. this is mandatory

so while i see no way i would stop trading if it works lile "let your profits run"

No adding on a loss? But that one eur trade that you had since Feb, did you not trade eur during that time?
