This virus is different, it kills

(Coronavirus, Dr. Giuseppe Remuzzi at Tgcom24 the alarming testimony of the director of the "Mario Negri" Institute for Pharmacological Research)

"It's a huge pain to see your friends fall."

The cry of pain of Dr. Giuseppe Remuzzi,
director of the "Mario Negri" Institute of Pharmacological Research,
rises loudly.
First manager of the non-profit foundation in Milan for research,
training and information on biomedical sciences.
Remuzzi is from Bergamo,
the epicenter of the Coronavirus epidemic that is severely testing Italy and much of the world.

"Among the many coronaviruses that we are facing,
this has changed quickly.
We struggle to find an immune response,
we struggle to cure" said Remuzzi,

who in recent days has lost colleagues, friends, and cannot find peace .
Also because the peak of the infections is still far away and the virus is strong,
too strong.

"This virus is different, this kills" he explained to Tgcom24.

What can I say Mag00, it's so sad tonight, a saturday rainy and grey night with no people, no cars in every streets and in every town of the Country.
Someone used to sing from the balcony during the day, but there's no will to sing when this invisible virus is spreading and killing so many people.
And then there is the unfair situation of people without job these days and maybe next weeks, because their business is closed.
This will bring at social injustice in an already difficult situation.......

all viruses could KILL.... at moment in italy 0.05% of population is POSITIVE......

Sunday update here below:
1. 50% of 20603 current cases are in quarantine/isolation in their houses. with soft or no problems for now;
2. 8% of 20603 current cases are in intensive hospital cure;
3. confirmed many deaths had previous other diseases together with COVID19;
4. confirmed significant higher male % cases compared to women;
5. confirmed very low or close to zero kids affected by virus.

While the Pope had a chance for a lonely walk in empty center Rome to pray in front an historical cross where previous Popes in 593 and 1837 prayed to stop mass pestilence and cholera diseases.......history repeat itself!!!

Last week I posted this DAX30 Daily chart for last years and sadly markets is testing now the 1st 8700 zone level......
Frankly it's not easy for me talking about these technicals while situation here is terrible.
Emotionals are driven our lives and worries about health and job of millions are devastating my mind............

US FUTURES halted Sunday night at -5% limit band, so they remain the same until 14:30CET when US main Indices will open.

Old people here say that it's the same as I or II World War: no people in the streets, queue to buy food,fear and depression all around, but now the enemy is invisible but is here all around, waiting to attack!

Dutchy, people are so disciplined here, take masks, take distance, no.one goes out but people will become crazy living in these way for day and weeks!
Anyway big big problem is in Lombardia, around Milan Area, more than 50% cases are there.

Hi Brixen, It is really a sad situation that the world finds itself in, there is so much uncertainty and people are very worried about the unknown, which is understandable.
Here in South Africa, our government is starting to take some drastic action now while we have only 61 cases of the virus.I think it is a wise decision.

I am very concerned about the people living in poverty across the world that don't have the means to get medical assistance, they don't have transport nor money. In some ways we are very fortunate.

That little footnote at the bottom of your posts says a lot " I call upon my fathers spirit, watching over me ''. In these times we should all be praying for our families, friends and the wide world. I know it must be terrible to be confined to indoors and I hope and pray that you and your family will remain strong in these times.

Here they are not aware of all the risks yet. Goverment closed schools/bars/restaurants etc. Much to late.

Number of cases will explode coming Week(s) Only then people will start to be serious around Corona.

Anyway try to remain calm & healthy and take care of yourself and your family.
It's better to be out wishing to be in... than to be in wishing to be out!

Yes, you're right. We are lucky, but millions are desperate in the world.
and do you want know 1 small thing....I can't go even to visit my beloved dad, I can't go even in a church to pray.....
