How is slippage when you do market orders?

IF the result is not better than straddling at those distance, its better not straddle with FXSol in that case...

Filled immediately. I don't know about slippage on market orders, i usually say buy @ this price, and so it always did (till now). So i would say no to almost no slippage.

I like FX Sol.

All I can say is, I thank you folks for all the GREAT Info you give here!!

Because of what I saw yesterday and read here on the forum, I started a GBP/USD buy at 1.8965 and let it ride thru the night.

After the news came out this morning and even before, the charts went thru the roof!

Anyway, thanks to you folks, I closed 2 trades with a total gain of 101pips!

The first trade, I thought would kick out at 1.9002 on my trailing stop so I put in another buy. But, it didn't kick out and kept going!!

I do appreciate you people here so very much!! I know I keep repeating myself but I can't say that enough!

Would have been a MUCH better trade on a live account but hey, that will come in time.

Nice job i would have done the same if i wasnt in it short at 8970 from last night because of a wrong order type when i entered my order, btw who do u use for a broker with news events?

i use IBFX but this broker not cool for news trading, in PCE widen 7pip spread

am still looking for another broker...

how do you trade the news?
do you make 2 entry order one little over the price and another below and wait for the news release?
or market order based on your expectation before the news release?
some brokers Like FXCM block entry orders during high volatile news release, what you do in this situation?
