Changed the $VIX bid to $2.75 and it got filled at $2.70....you just never know what you'll buy or sell the VIX at, really.....

So, in the following:

$VIX Mar18 40 PUT @ $2.70

Should be good for a little money.....

Didn't have to stones to hold overnight.

Due to the fast pace and no need for technical explanation purposes, I don't see any value to post any more of my $VIX trades.....

spoos dipa 50-60 ah, wonder if anyone wants to buy our stocks now.

One thing I am still waiting for - we have broke all the market records in the last few weeks - but I still want to see that record VIX print. This whole episode lacks legitimacy without it.

I'm going to look at the Apr17 CALLS for both FDX and UPS in the morning. I figure they will benefit from both the lower oil prices and the fact that people will do more online shopping rather than going to the mall in the short term due to the coronavirus.

Both are fairly cheap and should even be cheaper tomorrow based on what the futures look like now....

also, why not throw in a big credit crisis? We had that 10 years ago. Now, we can maybe get another one if all these frackers get killed in the oil price war crossfire and default on their junk.

It'd be another instance of a "Republican" administration burning down the economy on their way out - that's getting to be a hallowed tradition in the USA.

Watch for another deep dip in HYG....if enough junque companies are allowed to fail this time, maybe we can start over on another bull market....perhaps after a deep cleansing bloodletting down to SnP < 2,000....?

huge takedown for equities but no corresponding crash in treasury rates. That is a sign equities could be looking for a bottom.

Will probably get a bounce tomorrow, so should be good for some money. Already on the plus side, but tomorrow should be better....

BP Apr17 28 CALL @ $0.86

Let's see if they can't come together on oil prices.....

...modeled with a 20% reduction in iv, it could still make 10bag. I put a 30c tp on it. At expiry, b/e is at around $288.50...and $303.00.

the virus panic is going to play out, maybe sooner than later. The novelty will wear off. We will get more testing data and that will show what some facts are, as opposed to speculation. Certainty vs. uncertainty. The Fed will cut more next week and that will be more TINA. We are set for a rally and it might need to come after another leg down (or 2) but it will come. Remains to be seen whether it will be a fast rise or a grind, but it will be a good idea to have some long equities in the mix starting anytime now....
