600 zone strongly reacted at 1st touch for nearly +90 pips now, but I was not in the game.......and missed a free kick!!!!
I better stop for this week, because I was lucky and in green for most of my trades.
So done my week:
monday: +980
tuesday: +337,5
wed: +265
yd:+354
TOTAL:+1936 pips FDXM.

No chance to go out this weekend here, bad weather coming, no chance to go restaurants, Cinemas or Stadium, for this virus.....
I can't do anything except trading, but better stop until monday.
So one of my worst weekend of my life is coming......Fear & panic is worst than this virus.

Number of new China cases started to decrease when they stopped circulation,traffic and started an huge quarantine for millions.....
Italy is probably following the same strategy right now!

italian government is acting correctly i think. we don't know how serious it is, but if it is as serious as many experts say, this seems right. in contrast, german government is not doing enough now. germany is fucked already because government is run by incompetent idiots since many years now. now maybe we have a serious threat and they don't react, don't even prepare adequately

I don't know if Italy Government is doing the best strategy or not, but they have made a choice, a dramatic choice.
They don't care to stop economy in main part of the Country, they don't care if Italy financial markets will go down, but they have put only 1 priority: to contain and reduce the spread of the virus in a crucial phase. They have put people health as top priority, other things don't matter for now.
After the peak in new cases will decrease, economy will restart as usual......nothing's sure about tomorrow, but one choice had to be made!
I hope they are right with all my heart!

Only 10 days to fall from 13800 to 10800 for FDAX.......fear is spreading all around the world and no FED, no Trump , no BOJ or ECB could stop this fear.
Social media, new technology, now are only amplifying what's going on and they will increase in exponential way this panic.

There is another risk now, maybe a remote risk, that they will stop for a while, for some time the trades and your positions will be frozen, blocked and you can't escape, even if you are in gain, as it happened on Sept 2001 or March 2008 or May 2010, for some hours, some days.

I was a trader that bought every decent dip since last week, but now it's different.
I will keep going on my experiment but without real trades for today and probably for next days.
Stay out is the only thing to do fro a small/mid trader as me.

as I wrote previously 10800 is a crucial zone on multyears FIBO price levels. Below high risk to go straight to 10k.

Good idea, if you have made decent gains in previous weeks no need to jump in the market. One small event at the moment could knock the house of cards over.

We all traders love volatility, it's an undisputed truth, but there is a time when volatility is out of control as now.
Current prices could be a risk for long, for short and as I wrote before for anyone to find his trades blocked for a while....

But I'm always here and at 1st good chance in a calmer market, I will surely jump in as usual I did!!! I trade for living........

Hi Folks, my Broker here in South Africa has suspended all trading 2 hours ago, fortunately I was not in any trades at that time.

I agree with Brixen to rather stay away from the markets during these very uncertain times.

I remember one day on may 2010.
I had 1 small short position DAX around 6100. Then prices fell late European evening down to 5600 but all was blocked and I can't do anything. It was the day when Apple went down from 200 $ to 100$ in one session!!!
I covered my short only the day after, 18 hours later, with slight gain because market recovered.

Another day on March 2009 I was long small sizes on Commerzbank (DAX30) share , but markets crashed down for 6,7,8% in a morning.
I had an automatic stop -5% and it was impossible to modify because XETRA DAX suspended for a while trading.........my order was automatically closed at -7% and then they ban all shorts and markets went up for +30% next 2 weeks!!!!!

More or less a Casino'!!!

Every day around 17:30CET, Italy updates Covid19 situation.
When new cases will decrease, as happened in China a couple weeks ago or in South Korea these days, probably European markets will get some relief (if other main Countries do not follow bad trend).

So far markets held well sharp and wild moves, downs and ups. I mean technically , as software and hardware. This not always happened in the past.
So taking into account last hours 11k - 10440 range, I will place some buy orders around 50% retracements, let's say slight above 700 zone, more or less.
I guess US will start 1 hour before today and next weeks.

few FDXM buy orders, no need to risk more.

we might get some shitty news from germany in the next days - wonder if that is already priced in now.. rising numbers of infections, first deaths maybe, economy already in unhealthy state. what's to come - socialists are coming back in germany.
