Not sure why eurgbp I will have a look.
How do you want the configurable SL & tp to work.
There isn't any trailing stop yet.
We are getting to the difficult bit of money management.

My approach with my other systems is to set a SL & tp which I think are sensible and then manually adjust if I am around., if not then I take the hit or the money.

I run a 1hr and 15min system and both use the daily atr. So daily open +- atr becomes tp. SL is variable.
As with most stuff this is an area I am still working on.

Spikehunter Is it possible for sl to be in a designated place not in pips but in cash? I would like sl to always have a value of, for example, 10 or 20 dollars and let EA calculate how much pending order must be. is it 0.01 or 0.02. For example, gbp jpy sl 10 dollars will be 0.01 and eur usd EA will calculate that 10 dollars it must be 0.02 lots.I would always like to lose the same amount

Great work brother. This is what I got when I applied the EA on UCAD. The TPs are different from the rules.

Just tested EURGBP. It does open trades, just takes a few seconds. I have had to build in a delay between sending orders to ensure the broker server doesn't get overloaded which produces a "context error" error.
You are right we should check Wednesday and probably only on a few high volatile pairs but that of course is down to you to do.
I am just trying to tidy up the error messages as well.

TO ANYONE TRYING MY EA.

PLEASE BE AWARE that as this depends on the EA running on Wednesday morning, today it will today be calculating hi/lo based on the last 2 days.
At this stage in its development these are the little things that can trip you up. Its why I ask for others to test as I may miss these.
So far so good.

I have just realised why EURGBP and other pairs might not open.

I use some interesting code (my own design) to control multiple pairs by using GlobalVariables. These can be found under Tools menu. These need clearing out as I use them to stop multiple orders and to maintain system integrity. I have added a script which will do this. Just make sure you turn "AutoTrading" OFF before so as not to recreate the orders until you are ready. Like most bits of software there is a process.

Yes. that's something I have been working towards for my other systems where I can specify a % of my account that I am prepared to risk and calculate lot size on where SL is. Leave that with me as it might take me day or two to do but a great suggestion.

Just put that EA on the chart and everything seems to be working okay,
I see you having a discussion about the stop loss and lots size,
Are you building this so it will have some money management built-in,
or will you have an option to change lots size and stop-loss.

Please note what he said - TP is 100 points

If and when you understand the Fibonacci Tool, it doesn’t calculate in pips but Percentage

Therefore, a 1 to 1 Take Profit of the “range” measured from Entry to 50% stop loss, will be exactly that same number of pips

On your chart, the prices - High Entry 1.34593 - Stop Loss 1.33760 = 0.00833 pips (notice, NOT 100 pips)

Add that to the High Entry 1.34593 + 0.00833 = 1.35426 which is exactly what is on your chart

Another thing for you to check, the accurate placement of the Fibonacci Tool to the actual high and low

I suggest drop down to the 1-hour chart to see this in fine details

In reference to the last post, notice how USDCAD is stuck in the range?

Something to consider when there are multiple opportunities on CAD pairs, check the OIL price

Check the news, e.g. OPEC meeting failed = CAD weak

Generally, CADJPY is a great pair, but now NZD is the strongest

If I have say a buy stop order in above the Mon Tue range how can I have a stop loss attached to it when or if the entry triggers and I have the computer turned off.
Say I want the stop down at the 50% range.

We are not mind readers, but let’s assume that you are using Metatrader 4

When placing a pending order, the options are there to include the take profit and stop loss price also

When you place the order, it is held on the brokers server, you can turn off your computer.

I suggest that you read the User Manual, very throughly, okay?

And don’t believe random people on the forums, take responsibility

Yes Mt4. And you are right some reading of the manual is needed. I was right clicking on chart and saw Buy stop but should of went into new order instead.

For my 2nd week result,
Winner = 7 EC GU UJ Uchf EU NU CJ
Loss = 5 EA GJ Gchf Echf AN
Even = AC

It's still get profit. But I missed Gbpcad! So pity.
and I set entry : < 1.25 for some pairs

please recommend how I choose which pair that i should trade.
Or set buy stop/sell stop for all pairs.

Votre EA est un excellent outil pour moi.
Personnellement j'aime le SL chez (Hi-Lo) / 2
mais peut-être que d'autres commerçants souhaiteraient un autre niveau.
C'est pourquoi tout le monde doit pouvoir choisir ses SL et TP for every pair.
But you can keep the option SL = (Hi-Lo)/2 by default.
