My results this week:

Submitted 27 orders (I missed off EURUSD by mistake!...would be nearing TP1 by now! )

17 triggered.

2 x 1% losses
7 x break even
7 x 1% wins (so 5% up for the week)

1 trade still running at just under half risk.

Total pips this week so far: 591

EDIT: final trade got stopped out for 0.5% loss - so 4.5% for the week - I'm happy with that!

For gauging the true profitability it's best to ignore pips and concentrate on the % profit.

If you've used fixed lots for every pair, you need to work out how many 1:1 wins and 1:1 losses you have had.

For example, in your case, it looks like you had 5 wins, 1 loss and 3 roughly break-even. So all told, you're looking at 4% gain for the week if you'd risked 1% per trade...pretty good!

Hi Rob and PaulDV
I used the SMC EA Basic Daily with default settings (post #685)
Unfortunately the EA is not working correctly with a few pairs but Spikehunter is going to correct that.
On the graph, le grey dotted lines are the hi lo monday-tuesday , le blue line the buystop and the red line the sellstop.
No luck with EURAUD because the sellstop has been reached for only 3 pips: it's the main loss of the basket.
Without this one, the results would have been excellent.
Next week, I'm going to set a SL = (Hi-Lo)/2

Yeah, EURAUD was one I was stopped out on as well. It spiked into the trade. My EA (which I really must finish!) caters for this, so would not have entered, but, there you go.

Still a good week though.

Interesting, what was the trend for the GBPUSD before this week according to your determination?

What are your rules once you “know” the trend? I am assuming that you only trade in the direction of the trend.

Did you take any trade in GBPUSD? EDIT; checked your results, you had 2 Buy trades for GBPUSD, please explain the trend thing!

I was looking at this particular broker,
As you run a live account can you tell me how long is it before they stop the trial,
where you can use smaller amounts to trade with?

Just put 4 charts that you want and add the EA to them. It needs a chart to run. I have a new version coming out over the weekend. I'm frantically trying to test it before the market closes.

Recommended use. Add chart set it up how you like then add EA.
Today it will automatically run. Next week it will wait until Wednesday to run them all.

Can someone at least try and try it before market closes today on any pairs that have not traded this week. USDCAD is one.
If you have multiple charts setup already, best to clear them before Wednesday.
I always have 26 up as I run other strategies as well.

I checked quickly and the EA seems to set the levels correctly but we need use it absolutely wesnesday morning to check with safety.
I noticed that EURGBP is displaying the good levels but no pending orders.
Maybe in your next version could you set a configurable TP and a SL .
How is working exactly the trailing stop ? in pips ?

NZDJPY -24 (Wrong trade initiated, it did not cross Motu Hi Lo)

NET GAIN = 595 Pips

If entry were at 25% and wrong trade are excluded, results would be much better.

updating you on current week, i closed all the trade before nfp because it seems like gambling. and in my trading plan i do not trade with news that important. so for next months, i will close the trades before nfp. how ever got loss on audnzd, it was special, 1 pips in profit and then back to sl. so -1% on that, then i got other trades and ended all the week with + 3%. pretty cool right??
btw last week i made 43 % with this strategy so this week's percentage seems very small, but if this strategy can work well even in this condition it's a very good sign. how ever at the beginning of the week i put like 40 orders and only 7/8 was executed so it was very choppy market but very profitable. hope everybody is making money and really thank the creator of this strategy to share this content with us.
