will we dump into the close?....btfd? I am trying to leg into call spreads again, counting on the old PPT....

Well, good or bad, I am in the following:

SPY Mar20 316 CALL @ $1.815

I actually expected this to get filled after the close, but it was at 15:59:59.....which was a good thing since it spiked up right after the close.

I would think it should be good for a little money at the open, anyway....

In the last hour I bought Mar09 SPY $317 calls for 75c, tried to sell the Mar06 $317 calls for something better. Had a chance at 80c but let it go, hoping for a little more Wed. I see /ES at 3035 now, maybe we can catch a gap up....a delayed (calmer) reaction to the rate cut....?

...a gap up of >$3 will allow me to sell the Mar06 $317 calls for something over $1...

So, I guess it was good.....

Also out of:

DIA Mar6 280 Call @ $0.10 down from $2.67

That one, not so good.....

....sold the Mar09 $318 calls for 75c. With all these market gyrations I am doing a little better than b/e....not so easy to trade in the whipsaws. If the index would trend for a a little while I will make some gelt.

Kind of funny how spoos popped up a bit when Bloomberg announced his withdrawal. There will be more fireworks from US politics - leading up to the election itself, maybe around the DNC convention - 7/13-16.

bot SPXS put calendar for 25c, worth 50c now. Tricky these cuz you know they will revert but, when they do, iv's will shrink fast, so need to be careful...

I thought about another SPY entry up to the 10EMA (around 311.80) earlier today but didn't have the guts with it going up and down like it is. I'm worried the 10EMA is going to be a major resistance area in the short term (the rest of the week).

Nothing else looks good going into the close, either. A rising tide lifts all boats, but these tsunamis we've been having is just scattering the stocks in all directions on the charts, so nothing on my indicators look good now

Supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so maybe yard work is in my future rather than trading....

yeah I feel you. I'm managing shit and putting a lot in play. Not used to taking up so much time tho & I have donuts to make.

Ok, had a Hail Mary Bid in for HA from last night and it got hit this morning, so in the following:

HA Mar20 19 CALL @ $0.75

Should be good for a little money...

Also, I'm going to go ahead and call it dead:

DIA Mar6 285 Call @ $0.00 down from $2.71

Luckily my DIS and MAR13 SPY trades has more than made up for my losses on my two DIA and one SPY losses, but this has been one crazy couple of weeks!!

The weekly chart looks like it is ready to move up next week, but right now I'm going off a thought rather than a chart....

...I think we will see another hot leg or two down for US equities, the next one will get us to 2,700. We have just been ranging for the last week, albeit with wild swings. If I see some real consolidation, some sideways days with <1% range, I'll probably take that as a sign we could trend up from there.

when testing gets ramped up on a large scale here, the infection numbers are going to go much higher, but the mortalty rate will be probably more in line with what was seen in S. Korea - 0.6%, which is also inline with any other kind of flu
