You need strength behind a NS, for it to be a NS. And you need weakness behind a ND for it to be a ND.
Bar A) There is a mini shake out, this is strength.
Bar B) B is a NS and its back into previous strength of bar A. This bar is a confirmed NS because the next bar closes above the high of the NS.
Bar C) This NS is testing the weakness from the high volume up bar a few bars prior. Also this is confirmed because the next bar closes up.
Bar D ) This is a high volume down bar. Wrong place to be strength.
Bar E ) The bar you asked about, is testing the high volume bar on bar D. This bar is not a confirmed NS because the next bar closes lower than the NS. If anything Bar E, is a failed test.
Bar F ) This is not a NS, there is no strength in the back ground. There is nothing for this bar to test.
