I had a 2 90 angles today M5, normal trend lines and they did change angle.

Angles are certainly a challenge with mt4, I think we all agree....so what I have done is a few exercises using time conversion bars in my analyses and they work very well.... to square time and price make up a series of bars all the same length and distance, both vertical and horizontal and youy will be amazed how accurate they are....use at least a 1 hour time frame...but you can experiment however you wish...

Note how the time period..horizontal lines...how the trend continues or changes direction at the same time as the bar ends...nice hey?

Guys, trading is a business, lately I just trade ALT Coin and BTC, however it's trading, but when I was trading Stock and Forex my Charting program was Optuma. Sure it cost me about $600 per year but it's worth it. I see I lot of wasted time`trying to do the impossible with mt4 because your too cheap to buy it. Originally I thought that way. But, When I took Beck's Course it was a requirement. From then on I knew it was the help I wanted. I know these are not the words you want to hear, but would you want to hear the truth, or BS?

Happy to have high IQ and poor social skills , so maybe there is a solution to use MT4 anyway. Fibonacci tools has more anchor points, so that should work, we know that Fibo Exp and Retr does not move levels, so maybe Fibo Channel is in same category.

Then take insert your cycle tool and adjust to that same distance established...you now have a pretty good indicator where the market may turn in the future....

thanks for the suggestion.
will get into it as I get to finish off the reading in the first post. every time, I start to read the same stuff a different world of opportunities opens up that I could have never imagined working with basic mt4 indicators.

Nice tool. been doing the same thing with simple measured trendline.

GBP - took a few short trades on M15 with JSA - worked like a charm.

Not taking any more trades as price is now in tight range consolidating and don't want to take countertrend trades.

No, I do not believe this, zooming in and out angles do change. I do not want to change MT4 to another platform, so maybe using printer is something to think about.

would you be so kiind as to post some examples of Optuma using the Jenkins plug ins... like the Euro or GBP 1 hour charts...the ratios etc

I pretty much understand that I'm just a simpleton at heart. I enjoy simple things and keeping life as simple as possible.

This is how I like my trading to be, too.

In my short time, a year now, learning how to trade, I have had the luck and privilege to stumble some amazing minds here at FF. This thread is no different.

The octaves have completely won me over and I've added them to my style. They are simply amazing. And I'm certain for me it's important to keep them and the trading process very simple.

Thanks again to all those who experienced traders who have poured them time into this thread.

Yes, that is actually a huge problem, you just cannot trust your angles, it may look good atm, and you are taking entry and f**k, 30 minutes later your entry level is somewhere else.
Maybe that circle is different, but I really like this Angle stuff and would like to trade that way, so must find something to fix this issue.

In reference to post #462. Do you currently use this method & would you consider it a stand alone method? I saw the pdf listed here & will take a look at it. Just wanted your views as you seem to have firm grasp on the Jenkins Methods. Thank you for any response. Another good thread by the DiamondMan.

U will find if you use your fib fan the angle you set will transfer to your next timeframe...that's the fib fan NOT the Gann fan. Test, you will see

There are so many methods that Jenkins brings to our attention...but to boil it down for forex the basics are the octaves, the cycles and the Jenkins Secret Angle and Time Conversion Bars. Takes a little work but well worth it..

To "freeze" your drawing just tick this option in properties, but after you make it.

Thanks man, I am just thinking trading M5 so have to take that tab away every time when drawing a new line and then tab again.
Atleast that Fibo is something we can trust.
