Soraman....this is where study comes in....after you have studied the principals and understand time and price relationship, then questions can be asked...we do not have the time or the resources to answer such basic questions....this is a study that takes years to perfect, one cannot answer in a simple post.....do the work please.

Ok so that was good for another 10 pips on the short side.....It is worth noting how Jenkins looks at these angles....when the 50 was breached means the retrace or the market is stronger than thought and this is when you have to make a quick decision. He talks of some of the most successful traders that he trained...and one of the traits they perfect is accepting the market for what it is telling you....and that means you may have to change direction quickly,.....take your small loss and get on the right side of the market....any questions on that?

Appreciate what your saying,,,but this will never be a live call service. This is about teaching something that could be very useful to you we hope, but live calls is for paid live call services....Now this morning I did show entries live and will do that periodically but you have to understand we are live traders ourselves and that takes concentration...not a lot of time for posting...anyway, just wanted to clarify...

Back in post 44 I showed you how to make up a tool for doing your Octave levels using your fib entrancement tool and entering 8 even levels .....there is a better way I have discovered and you may want to try it....Murray Math have done the same thing for us....they take 100 candles of data and determine what is the average high/low over that period of time and plot it for us....note the chart attached that seems to catch every significant level....then all you have to do is square things out with your cycle tool.....try it if you wish.....

Hey Swede,

Thanks for pointing out the Murrey Math indicator. It does indeed line up with some key levels. I'm currently watching the Jenkins video and as a result of learning about the Jenkins Resistance Levels, I wondered what part they play, if any, in your trading approach? Cheers!

I had previously used these octaves set to 64 (occasionally 128 if the octaves too small. . . think low ADR pairs). Given past price movement on the EU the 64 setting and your 100 provide the same picture. The 100 offers more data, and I have left this on.

Note the current top sits just above the strong support/resistence line of 6 and bounced off the 3.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Also very easy and useful to see where price is from bottom to top of range and the center of gravity at 4.

Following lines from both the JSA and the time/price squares.

Notice how the 4 (COG) is nearly equal to the JSA 50.

Useful to me . . . perhaps others.

Huge...I watch those levels all the time for potential turns....when there has been a strong move up, or down, then I turn to my JSA chart to gauge the retrace and I only have the script on...but my hourly and regular chart always have them.

Yes, now you can reprogram your fib indicator to Jenkins recommended levels being 0.00 0.25. 0.50. 0.75. 1 which is nice to measure normal retrace level and drawing squares.

If you get into estimating support or resistance using the more difficult calculation find the bottom of a major swing like last Monday....multiply the square root of that number and add the answer to the low for the next level. use that same number of the square root and add to the next level....you will be amazed how accurate that is.....but with mt4 it is quite a process...the octave is very accurate and much easier for the charts we use.

Yesterday catch on gbpnzd +140 pips. I was rather sceptical to all of this geometry stuff, but maybe there is something in it.
