Yes, that is what an EA is best for, in my opinion.

Please be sure to make the EA editable and without time limit restrictions. If there are issues with it in the future, it can easily be fixed by anyone who knows enough about MT4 to fix it.

Hello everyone,
I see that some people find it difficult to place orders on certain levels while from page 3 there is an EA that Sangui has developed which does the job, so I am handing over the latest version with a setting to slide in "Presets" and "test" (for backtests). The RR is modifiable 2: 1 just like all the parameters.
make good use of it and have fun ... ;-)

Sorry, I couldn't transfer the .set file so just display these settings in the EA to get a 2: 1 RR
(don't forget the sign - in front of the stop value)

Thank you Transmat. IS this an actual EA or a script? Does this work anytime or only on opening hour of Wednesday?
My broker daily candle opens at 17:00 EST (NY time). Does that matter? If it does, where do I change it so that it matches my broer if neede.

Today in forex trading the AUD was mostly weak. The EUR/AUD moved higher on the H4 time frame. The AUD/USD is dropping into the long term downtrend, this pair has much more potential to drop.

This is exactly why it would be good to have an EA with settings to either only go long or only go short on this strategy. Just throwing up a script does not suffice, because other things have to be considered, such as currency strength, for example.

One could potentially produce far more winners than losers by looking at the broader picture before placing a trade using this strategy.

What’s this “we” ? It’s up to YOU

Each trader must take responsibility for their trading decisions.

You can backtest or not, see what YOU think is the best entry

Another especially important part is Risk Management

Once the entry is decided, where will YOU place the Stop Loss
