On the other hand one can always be/become a "set-up" trader.
You can choose a couple of good set-ups.
You study to become the Master and Lord of them two... and you trade always in the same way,
It is not mechanical... because always require discretion... but it could help!
Less doubts and less time in training.
it is up to each one of us to decide what we want to become.

One can make a living from just only one good set-up!

But you have to find the most suitable for your own individual specificities: overall knowledge, temperament and time frame chosen!

I think they don't exclude each other. You can start with 1-2 set ups and then evolve your knowledge and mindset.

Correct! Yes. I agree with you... if we see formation as a journey.

The advantage would be to build on good technical foundations ... and not on the news and rumours.
Moreover avoiding the gambling temptation.
