Disliked{quote} Can I ask why the Permitted Faily Loss as well as Permitted Loss are higher than fixed sums? Why rhey increase? As I know max possible daily and overall losses are fixed as 5-10% of initial bslance disregarding gained profits.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Max loss is 10% of start balance - i f you make $1000 then max loss is $11000. Daily is same start with $5000 max loss - make 1000 on the day max loss for that day becomes $6000 - this will revert back to 5k for the next day so be careful of open positions. Regards maahomeIgnored
DislikedHi What I've noticed is that the negative balance you reach with your open trades plays a major role. They use that to count your Daily Loss... So if today your open trades go as low as -$2000 and tomorrow you it goes to -$2450. Then the fixed Max Daily Loss will be the lowest DD -$2450.{image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} As I know website suggests that max overall loss is 10% of initial balance no matter how much you gained on it eventually (regardless of current balance). Lets say, if 25k challenge...it is 2500$ loss any time..even if you gain 3k profit on 25k..10% of 25k will be counted...thats why i wonder why it increasesIgnored
Disliked{quote} As I mentioned earlier, there is a difference between daily and overall losses. All these questions are covered very clearly in the videos and help articles on the site. To use your example - Monday start with 25k. Max account loss = 2500 and Max Loss for today = 1250 - win 100 - new day max loss is 1350. Account max loss is now $2600. Tuesday max loss for account is $2600 (2500 +100) and new daily max loss is reset to 1250 (5% of starting capital 25000). Can't explain it any clearer than that. Cheers maahomeIgnored
Disliked{quote} After only chatting with customer service I finally clarified. You know communication of this rule by the firm is little upside down, creates misunderstanding. It is basically this: max permitted loss is total of a) Any profit sum on top of initial balance (if gained) + b) 10% of initial balance. You can allow this much loss at any time. Basically, your gained profit on initial balance counts to to permitted loss amounts!Ignored

Disliked{quote} I guess 99% you will fail the challenge if you continue to trade like this. Good luck!Ignored
DislikedI understand news trading is not allowed but what if one already has open position and gets stopped out (within two minutes of release) will that violate rule for funded account?Ignored
