Anybody charting and trading using Metatrader 5 on an Android phone? I'm charting but account is still traded by MT4

I only use it for plot more charts at same time. Normally 2 in landscape. The thing I don't like in new builds is they removed symbols menu split in charts making change symbols tedious. Same with MT4

Never used split charts yet, I see the icon for it

I just use 2 MA's and change symbols. I guess if I had other chart setups, that would be like having a Template.

@brain the boss,

Do you mean the Symbols Menu on the left?

That changes from Symbols to Timeframes

Select options on the right menu

Every chart ( if you use more one ) have his own settings. Works as template but you have set them manually first time. Unfortunately mobile dont support templates. The only trick is copy app folder files with "template" and rename it for active/disable it

I have mysteriously lost the ability to push the candles to the left, can push but they go back

Compare this chart to the first post

Now candles are stuck to the far right

I don't see any settings for Chart Shift as in desktop version

Any suggestions?

I don't know what I did but now it's okay

Push candles to the left and they stay there

Some undocumented bug or as Bill Gates called it...

Well, I figured out the Chart Shift

Press & hold on screen until the price scale on left disappeared, and a vertical line appears on last bar

Now you can drag chart left or right to where you want the price bars or candles

Tap screen to lock the shift, price scale appears

Easy Peasy

Problem last night, on live account, data stopped, switched to demo, it's fine.

Had to delete the app, and reinstall but lost all charting objects

At least on a computer can install multiple versions

Be sure to know your password

Now have MT5 on iPad as main charting and trading platform.

I miss the ability to be able to move the screen within the display area, forgot the actual term used.

When using Fibonacci levels, the projected take profits are off the top or bottom of the screen

There is no way to view them other than go to Weekly or even Monthly charts

One thing I found by chance, don’t need to change charts with the MarketWatch window

Just tap on the Intrument Name, very upper left corner, drop down list appears

I know this is not the right subject...but can anyone help me...trading mt5 on the iPad has now trade entry and out arrows how can i get rid of this?
