hello everyone I am wondering if there is a way to close partialy a trade on MT4 even when the platform is not open. For example if I open a position, I can set to close the half of the position automatically when the price increases by 5 pips. is that possible?

If you want the process to be automated, in all cases the platform will have to be up and running with the EA/script applied on.

Yes, you can calculate your position and split them in multiple orders with predefined Takeprofit and Stoploss. for advance use, you can also use stop-limit orders. for calculations, one can also use "Position Size Calculator" which is free of cost indicator by earnforex.
