Forgive me for not using EA. I test everything manually, and get quite different results, probably because using different sets of TP & SL, as well as partial wins/losses, etc.
OK, just went through GbpAud for 2018.
Entry @ 15%
TP @ 55% (= to +40%)
SL @ -55% (= to -70%)
• 25 Wins (= to +1000%)
• 9 Losses (= to -630%)
• In Between loss & win totals (= to +138%)
• 11 No Trade Weeks
As is total would be 508% for the year. (Remember, this is equal to fibonacci % per trade, so you would need to figure your risk per trade for results in currency).

To this point this thread has missed being Trolled, and I'd like to keep it that way. If I get hate mail, that's cool, cuz I could care less.
Of the 9 losses only once did 2 consecutive losses occur. So, if trade size was doubled, after each loss, (Except after 2nd consecutive loss, [at this point I would have accepted the equivalent of 3 full stop losses{one full stop & double one stop}, and returned to normal risk]), the positive % would have been +908%, nearly double the other way.
OK, just went through GbpAud for 2018.

100% Agree. I'm doing 2015 now. I'll pick some other pairs and do random years.
Also, it's starting to look as if original criteria proposed by 4XTC, may be best bet or using 80% for SL. I'll be checking both.
For GA 2018 I checked out 50% win with 25% loss, and it was not good. GA, in particular, likes to roam.

Tested GA for 2015, using 65% TP & 80 SL. • Wins 17 = 850% • Losses 15 = 1275 % Obvious losing year.
Obviously that would mean compounding if another signal in those following weeks.
It's always a dilemma between taking the profit at a preset target now as in swing trading, or is this the big trend we always want to be on. Look at that tosser GBP today!
For example, OIL consolidated a few weeks back, then a signal, look at it now.

Seriously, not to hijack my own thread, but notice how often the first two days of each month are a kind of 'turning point' of the month.
Often the first two days serve as a high or a low for the month, but definitely not always.
What about if those first two days are a MoTu? There are definitely some impressive runs.

I like the beginning of the week. I can almost always find between 1 & 6 pair that seem to be turning. Trading with the "Week" as focus, can get you out of the minutiae, head banging zone.

Last week was consolidation for EURJPY, ending with a PIN bar, is it possible that reversal is in progress, can Monday and Tuesday catch the direction?

If they are both on the same candle it is OK, then that is your total range, so in your chart Monday is engulfing Tuesday candle
Put your FIB tool or range box on with your desired settings or you can use the OP's settings from Post 1, I am using them in my chart example except I am using TP at 165%
